Li Xiaojun's related evaluation.

Li Xiaojun was born and raised in Beijing, and his Beijing accent sounds very nice. I have known Li Xiaojun for ten years, and my initial impression of him is a typical modern Beijinger, smart, witty, generous and kind. This impression has not changed after ten years, and he undoubtedly belongs to a person who can be trusted with his heart.

Li Xiaojun is a painter and painter, which is very difficult in the circle of contemporary traditional art creation, so his creation has always been my concern. It's my long-cherished wish to have face-to-face communication with Li Xiaojun. In order to compile the book Memory and Interpretation, I finally realized this long-cherished wish. In May this year, at the appointed time by telephone, I visited Li Xiaojun, president of the National Academy of Painting.

Li Xiaojun is the kind of person who is very good at maintenance. He is old enough to know his destiny. Judging from his appearance, he is in his early 40 s at most, no different from when I met him. I secretly think Xiaojun is a Beijing man. The reason why he is over 500 years old and never loses face is not because of the "men's beauty salon", but probably because of his good attitude towards life-the result of being indifferent to wealth, fame and fortune. In fact, keeping a healthy mind is a "specific medicine" to keep beautiful. Although I didn't ask Xiaojun if it was like this, I think he should have a deep understanding of it.

Based on our familiarity, we talked directly according to the prepared outline, without ceremony or greeting. Li Xiaojun's eloquence is the natural specialty of Beijingers, and he is also a wealth scholar. His account of his personal artistic career and ideas immediately attracted me deeply.

Li Xiaojun grew up in a military compound when he was young, and his love for art was pure and natural. However, he has a soft spot for traditional art dominated by ink and wash, but he is insensitive to western art. When studying in Li Xiaojun, the art teacher was Yan Jiarong, the daughter of Yan Bolong, a little freehand painter. It was the first time that she came up with the idea of studying and creating Chinese paintings in Li Xiaojun. Enthusiastic friends such as Long introduced Mr. Kang Youwei's student. In the process of seeking advice from Mr. Dai, Mr. Dai clearly told: "If you want to draw Chinese painting well, you must practice calligraphy well." Therefore, as a disciple of Kang Youwei, Li Xiaojun began to explore Kang Youwei's calligraphy system and made great efforts in the calligraphy style of Weibei School, even during his military service abroad. Li Xiaojun first took the title of the book. As early as the mid-1980s, his calligraphy style in Weibei was world-renowned and of great significance to the times. The origin of the title was due to his ten years of hard work in his early years.
