According to the inquiry of Tuhua Education, Ou Yangxun was a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty and was famous for his unique calligraphy style. Ou Yangxun's calligraphy works, represented by "European style", are regarded as one of the models of regular script.
European style is characterized by rigor, neatness, exquisiteness and preciseness. His strokes are exquisite, and he pays attention to the details of starting, transporting and collecting the pen. Its structure is rigorous, its shape is slender and its lines are smooth. European-style font structure is mostly taken from ancient stone tablets, which is famous for being thin and hard. The turning point of strokes is often dominated by square folding, which shows its resolute and decisive character.
