Hualong pool introduction
Hualongtan, a historical and cultural block, is located in Tianxin District, an ancient city on the east bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province, adjacent to the commercial pedestrian street of Huangxing South Road in Changsha. Originally named "Dai Yu Street", Hualong Pool starts from Dagu Road Lane in the south and ends at Loom Street in the north, and still has a gravel pavement. This block is the epitome of Hua Shan county in ancient Changsha. Hua Shan County was subordinate to the south of the city from the Northern Song Dynasty to the first year of the Republic of China, just like Changsha County. This neighborhood is rich in place name culture and legend culture, including Hualong Pool, Nantuo Boots, Entrance and Exit Gates, One Step and Two Bridges, Baiguoyuan, Wenmiaoping, Xiyao Temple, Diaomazhuang and other places. The former residence of He, a famous calligrapher in Qing Dynasty, is also in this street.
