He loved the art of calligraphy since childhood, and studied under the famous calligraphers Hu Min and Zhang Songling in China. His calligraphy is all-round, especially good at cursive script. Calligraphy and poetry works are scattered in various newspapers and magazines, and have participated in many domestic and foreign painting and calligraphy exhibitions and won awards. 1990 and 2002 held two successful individual calligraphy exhibitions, which were well received by experts and fellow travelers and reported by many media in provinces and cities. During the period of 1998, leaders of Shijiazhuang Municipal Government and Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Commerce led delegations to visit Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea respectively in 2005, and more than 20 works were presented as gifts to relevant politicians and enterprise groups for collection. His works and biographies have been included in many dictionaries, such as Grand View of Famous Painters in China, Grand Ceremony of Contemporary Writers and Artists, and Grand Ceremony of World Fine Arts and Calligraphy at the End of the Century.
