What is interspersed in calligraphy?

Interpolation is a sentence, the strokes of one part enter the range of another part and are inserted into the space of that part.

Interpolation has two forms. One is the actual insertion of strokes, which means that strokes are actually inserted into the space of another part. Another case is virtual interpolation. The so-called virtual interpolation means that the physical part of a stroke is not inserted into the space of another part. But the stroke force is the space inserted into another part, which seems to make people feel that the stroke is the space inserted into another part. This is a virtual insertion.

Avoidance in calligraphy

Avoidance is a basic principle of calligraphy. If you don't know how to avoid it, you can't write Chinese characters. Just like driving, if you see a car coming in front, you have to avoid it in order to pass smoothly. If you don't know how to avoid it, you will be scratched, two cars will collide and a traffic tragedy will occur. Writing is the same, strokes and radicals should be avoided.

This avoidance creates affinity between strokes and radicals, a sense of interdependence and wholeness. It is with this sense of affinity, dependence and wholeness that a word can be called a word. Without this sense of affinity, dependence and wholeness, it will never be a word. It can only be said that it is scribbling, or scribbling.
