A speech is a speech delivered by a speaker on a certain occasion and in front of an audience, focusing on the theme. In study, work and life, more and more people come into contact with and use speeches. Do you know the form of the speech? The following are six graduation speeches I have compiled for you, for reference only. Welcome to reading.
Speech at the graduation ceremony 1 Dear teachers and students: "
After six years of primary school life, we are about to leave our dear alma mater. The attachment to our alma mater is surging in our hearts like a flood. How can I not miss it? How can I leave my alma mater where I grew up? "
Time flies, six years is fleeting. Under the careful cultivation of teachers, we have changed from being ignorant to being sensitive and studying, from being naughty and willful to being lively and sensible, and from being naive to waiting for the arrow to leave the string, leaving dreamlike memories. When I entered primary school, I was still a young and ignorant child, and now I have become an ambitious teenager. All this is due to the teacher, who took us swimming in the ocean of knowledge; Is the teacher, opens our chaotic mind; It is the teacher who cares for us with maternal love and grows sturdily. In six years, we have gone from shallowness to richness. Like a shining pearl on the road of life. The laughter and reading of the students reappeared in my mind, which is why I left so many vivid details and wonderful fragments in my memory.
We spent six wonderful primary school years here, which is the flower season of life and our life post. Today I am proud of my alma mater, and tomorrow my alma mater will be proud of me!
Speech at the graduation ceremony Dear teachers and students:
Good Morning, everyone!
I am Hou Jiazi, a graduate of polymer materials and engineering. I feel very excited and honored to speak on behalf of the graduates present at the solemn graduation ceremony.
Looking back at Changchun in the midsummer four years ago, the rhythm of youth is everywhere ~ under the banyan tree on campus, I saw another kind of fiber grass, covered in mud. The school bus of Jilin University looks at strange faces full of laughter with its green eyes. At the train station and the exit, we left our footprints, but I didn't expect this landing to be a four-year memory. Now, graduation is just around the corner, we will bid farewell to our respected teachers and classmates who live together day and night, and go our separate ways with a vision of future life. At this moment, I think everyone, like me, has infinite nostalgia for the Institute of Materials Science. The poet Pushkin said, "everything is instantaneous, and everything will pass;" And what has passed will become a beautiful memory. "Today, after this moment, Jilin University will be a wonderful memory of our life, and the Institute of Materials Science will become a complex that we will never leave in our hearts. Our laughter and happiness, our tears and complaints, our efforts and successes, our attempts and failures will be completely preserved in our memory. In this memory, it also contains our heartfelt thanks to the teachers, our incomparable nostalgia for youth and our deep feelings for the materials.
I've been quietly packing and tidying up my thoughts these days. I must admit that these four years have given me too much material. People in Jida not only learn all kinds of scientific knowledge, but also have a strict attitude towards life and work. Modest life style, full enthusiasm for scientific research and selfless dedication are always reflected in the daily life of the school. Four years of dreams, let us grow up from an ignorant child. This sign of maturity is that I gradually understand the value of "responsibility". Tomorrow we will go to our respective jobs and study posts. No matter what choice we make, no matter where we go, we will never forget the knowledge and spirit that Jilin University has given us, nor will we forget the responsibility on our shoulders. The road is at your feet, and tomorrow will be better. Let's put down pride and glory, pick up modesty and honesty, and dare to provoke the heavy responsibility for the country and society. This is the quality that a material person should have, and this is worthy of Jilin University!
There is a face called youth, a future called infinite glory, and a feeling called reluctance, which is unforgettable for some time. 1,500 days and nights ended like this. Four years, so many disputes, so many laughter, so many troubles, so much pride, will it really be left to the past with a bang at this back door? Meet in a strange place and break up when you get familiar with it. This is the coming separation. But what we need to do now is not to feel dejected, because no matter where tomorrow is, as long as our hearts are together forever, we will never be apart.
Finally, please allow me, on behalf of all the graduates, to express my sincere thanks to the School of Materials and the hard-working teachers. The western hills are gray and the East China Sea is vast. Our school is solemn and stands in the center.
Speech at the graduation ceremony Dear teachers and parents:
Hello everyone! I am the parents of my classmates. Today, I am honored to attend the graduation ceremony of students as the representative of parents, to share the joy with students and the achievements of education with teachers. Here, please allow me, on behalf of the parents of all senior three students, to express my warm congratulations to the students who have successfully completed their senior high school studies, and to express my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and employees who have devoted their love, enthusiasm, sweat and wisdom to the growth of the students.
Every progress of my children is inseparable from the hard work of teachers. You won't get good grades without the strict requirements of the teacher.
Three years ago, the autumn wind was cool and the sweet-scented osmanthus was fragrant. The children walked into the campus of Cihu Middle School with excitement and expectation according to their own wishes and choices. The garden-like campus environment, advanced educational concepts, excellent teachers and good study habits give us reason to believe that children will get all-round development here. Exquisite preaching and teaching to solve doubts is the glorious tradition of Cihu Middle School. Dedication is the excellent moral character of teachers in Cihu. This noble professional ethics is vividly reflected in Mr. Cihu. In the past three years, we have seen that Cihu Middle School has been exploring innovative education and advocating quality education. In strengthening moral education and cultivating students' all-round development, we have made useful attempts and gained valuable experience.
In class, you use vivid language and teaching methods to impart knowledge; After class, you hone your child's will quality through various cultural and sports activities and social practice, and attach great importance to the cultivation and edification of children's morality, intelligence, physique and beauty; In addition to teaching textbook knowledge, you also put more energy into teaching children to be ambitious, establish life coordinates and lay a good foundation for ideals. The serious guidance of the class teacher, the patient guidance of the teacher, the careful arrangement of the teaching teacher and the great attention of the school leaders. You forgot your job and gave up many rest days to really "teach and educate people". Especially in the final stage of the sprint of senior three, every senior three teacher is conscientious in his post and seriously answers questions for the students. In the fertile soil of Cihu Middle School, hardworking gardeners tirelessly spread the fragrance of peaches and plums, and eager students tirelessly absorb the nutrition of knowledge; Under the school motto of "unity, diligence, truth-seeking and enterprising", students care about and help each other: enjoy the fun of competition in a harmonious learning atmosphere; Feeling the joy of growth in study and life not only broadens our horizons, increases our talents, but also enriches our experience and cultivates our sentiments. As parents of students, we sincerely thank the school leaders and teachers who stood on the three-foot platform, sweating and sowing hope. Because of your efforts, countless students in Cihu can.
Fly your dreams here: Because of your efforts, Cihu Middle School can continue to write one wonderful chapter after another!
Three years, studying hard at the cold window, such as a blink of an eye. However, these three years are very important for students. You have begun to step into the ranks of young people who are full of vigor and vitality, know how to study and live, know how to face the society, and have their own ideas, friends and the world. Starting with simple basic knowledge, you begin to climb to a profound scientific peak, learn thinking, master methods, broaden your horizons and accumulate knowledge. In the process of your growth, we also learned a lot of new things, adding a deeper experience to life. We have learned your sensitivity and pursuit of new things, your kindness and innocence to others, and your passion and desire for life; In the company with you day and night, we realize that communication, tolerance, patience, consideration and care are so important. After three years of cold window replacement and stormy weather, you are on your way to school. How many wonderful holidays, you still cling to books and hold them; How many times in the dead of night, you are still working hard and burning the midnight oil. After three years of care, we are happy for your joy, worried for your sadness, happy for your achievements and anxious for your difficulties. We can put down what we are doing to listen to your complaints, and we are willing to stay up late to study with you when we are physically and mentally exhausted. We have never been stingy with all our efforts on you. This is not only a responsibility, but also a willing investment. 12
The baby eagle will eventually fly far away. Today, you will bid farewell to your middle school days, pursue your dreams, enter the university, and go to the society. You will face more difficulties and setbacks alone than in middle school. How can I see a rainbow without experiencing wind and rain? As a parent, I want to enhance students' sense of responsibility, especially today, at your graduation ceremony. Mr. Liang Qichao put it well: "Young people are wise, the rich are rich, the strong are strong, and the independent are independent." The future of the motherland and the prosperity of the country are created by your younger generation. Please stand up and bravely assume social responsibility. There is no end to learning, and success is not instantaneous.
As long as you always regard struggle as a habit, one day, you will enjoy the joy of harvest. I expect you to maintain your advantages, overcome your shortcomings, face setbacks bravely, sum up your successful experiences, reflect your self-worth, create more glories, add luster to your life, and win glory for your alma mater and your motherland.
My speech is over. Thank you teachers and parents!
The speech at the graduation ceremony was steady and hurried for four or three years, bumpy and hard for three years, sweaty and happy for three years. Today is an unforgettable day, and it is also a day worth remembering. Three years of high school career will end today. At this moment, even if there is joy of gathering together, there are memories and nostalgia that can't be concealed.
Time flies, time flies, and with a flick of a finger, we have changed from an ignorant teenager to a teenager who transcends our dreams. Wash away childishness and impetuousness, and precipitate wisdom and mind. When we look back, I think Lieutenant General will be an unforgettable stop. Although it is far away, we will still remember that classroom and a desk, which witnessed our struggle; I will also remember a smiling face, a joke, a classic; Or we will think of a teacher and an exam, which makes me happy or sad or hate or love. The dream and pursuit of youth, the confusion and loss of youth, the sweat and harvest of youth, we gave them to xx Middle School.
I want to thank you, dear teacher! You are always accompanied by morning light and moonlight, walking in a hurry, coming and going in a hurry, working silently day after day and year after year; How many days and nights have you sacrificed for us, and how much joy and happiness have you sacrificed to reunite with your family. Prepare lessons, attend classes, correct homework, make home visits, have heart-to-heart talks, correct test papers ... you set an example and make selfless contributions. Today, I can proudly tell you that your hard work has produced rich fruits in autumn, and the fruits are fragrant! The grass returns to spring with vigorous growth, and the children who travel far away will definitely leave a warm place for you in their hearts!
In fact, we don't want to go, we just need to look up and pursue our dreams and new life and direction.
Goodbye, alma mater; Goodbye, carefully cultivate our school leaders; Goodbye, teacher; Goodbye, classmate; Goodbye, colorful youth. Words can record memories, but it is difficult to write down feelings, youth, campus complex, and a big book can't be finished. Students love campus, just as a wanderer loves his mother, and trees embrace the earth.
May the feelings of xx Middle School remain in my heart forever, and may the career of xx Middle School be brilliant forever. I wish my alma mater, teachers, classmates, brothers and sisters all the best. Every grass and tree in xx Middle School, a smile and a tear in xx Middle School will be our eternal memories and the driving force for progress.
Speech at the graduation ceremony Dear teachers and students:
Good Morning, everyone! I am honored to speak on behalf of the 20xx senior three graduates.
I think, at this moment, everyone's mood is the same as mine, with both joy of gathering together and unspeakable nostalgia, because soon, our high school life will be over, and we will bid farewell to our classmates, persuasive teachers, alma mater and new journey. Here, on behalf of all senior three students, please allow me to extend my highest respect and sincere thanks to the teachers who have worked hard to cultivate us in the past three years! (Bow, pause)
Three years ago, we gathered here with dreams and expectations; For three years, we have been studying, thinking and growing here. In the past three years, we have learned to cooperate and look at things positively.
In the past three years, we have encouraged and helped each other, experienced various ups and downs and made common progress; ……
Soon, we graduated. Looking back on these three years, it is really unforgettable. I can't forget you and me in the classroom; I can't forget the energetic posture on the playground;
I can't forget our active figure in various student activities; ……
Time flies as fast as yesterday, as if I had just entered the campus and was already facing graduation. Thank XX County Middle School for nourishing us in the past three years. It is these three years that have turned us from an ignorant teenager into a young man who can stand alone. It is also in these three years that we have mastered some art of dealing with people; It is also in these three years that we have learned a lot of philosophy of life that we didn't know before. Graduation from high school-this end will be another starting point for our happy life, and we will step out of the warm family of XX county middle school and embark on a new journey. However, dear alma mater, please rest assured that with your care and care, your children can already open up a new battlefield of life and a sky that truly belongs to us. (loud)
High school is a garden full of friendship. I am very happy to have you along the way. (Soothing) Thank you-my dear teachers, under your patient teaching, I successfully completed my studies; Thank you, my dear classmate. With your company, I spent three wonderful years in high school. Today, when we look back on high school, it must be an important stop in our lives. Facing the college entrance examination, we are full of confidence. Even if the road is full of thorns, we can't shake our confidence in moving forward. Because we firmly believe that gold always shines. What we need to do is to calm down, accept it and let ourselves be its master.
There is a long way to go in Xiu Yuan, and I will go up and down. At this moment, we meet here, and the next moment, we will embark on a different journey. The cruelty and beauty of reality and fierce competition will not make us slack off. Students, I know everyone has a beautiful dream in their hearts. Please remember: the stars are just above our heads, and our dreams are close at hand. As long as you stand on tiptoe, you can embrace your dreams and let us be full of fighting spirit in this warm summer, XX. (word for word)
Finally, I wish the students eternal youth and success in their future struggles. I wish our teachers good health and all the best in their future work. I wish our study will ride the wind and waves on the road of future development and create greater glories!
Thank you!
I didn't realize it at the time, but later I found out that being fired from Apple was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. The burden of successful people is gone, and some are just the relaxed feeling of novices, and they are no longer so confident about all kinds of things. This allows me to travel light and enter one of the most creative stages of my life.
Today, I am honored to come to your university, the top university in the world, to attend your graduation ceremony. I didn't finish college. To tell the truth, today is the closest day in my life to graduating from college. Today I want to tell you three stories in my life, that's all. It's no big deal, just three stories.
The first story is about connecting the dots of life.
I dropped out of Reed University after studying for six months, but then I dropped out like a student for about eighteen months. So why did I drop out of school?
This started before I was born. My mother was a young and unmarried graduate student when she gave birth to me, so she decided to let others adopt me. She very much hopes that the adopter is a college graduate and everything has been done. After I am born, I will be adopted by a couple of lawyers. To my surprise, after I was born, the couple suddenly changed their minds and said that they actually wanted a girl. So, my adoptive parents, who were still waiting on the list at that time, received a phone call in the middle of the night and asked them, "We have an unmarried baby boy here. Do you want him? " They replied, "Of course." But then my biological mother found out that my adoptive mother didn't go to college and my adoptive father didn't even finish high school. She refused to sign the adoption contract. A few months later, my adoptive parents promised me to go to college, and she gave in.
Seventeen years later, I really went to college. However, I naively chose a school whose tuition is almost as expensive as your Stanford. My parents are working-class, and they spent all their savings to pay for my tuition. After six months, I can't see the value of money. I don't know what I want to do, and I don't know how the university will help me find the answer, but I am wasting my parents' life savings. So I decided to drop out of school and firmly believed that it was the right decision. I was very scared, but in retrospect, it was one of the best decisions of my life. As soon as I drop out of school, I can stop taking compulsory courses that I am not interested in and start taking classes that look interesting.
However, this is not very romantic. I don't have a dormitory, so I can only sleep on the floor of my friend's room. I collect coke bottles that others have finished drinking and exchange them for 5 cents to buy food. Every Sunday night, I will walk seven miles across the city to the Hare Krishna Temple, and then have a free meal. I like the food there. Later, I found that the previous experiences of following curiosity and intuition were actually priceless.
Let me give you an example:
At that time, the calligraphy class at Reed University was probably the best in the country. Every poster on campus and every label on the drawer are beautifully handwritten. Because I don't have to take formal classes when I drop out of school, I decided to take calligraphy classes and learn to write. I learned about serif and san serif fonts, how to adjust the spacing of letter combinations, and how to make the best typesetting. That kind of beauty, that kind of elegance, that kind of exquisiteness can't be reflected by science. This fascinates me.
At that time, in my life, these things had no hope of practical application. But ten years later, when we designed the first Macintosh computer, the situation was completely different. We integrated everything I learned at that time into the design of Mac. That was the first computer that used beautiful fonts. If I hadn't taken that class, Mac computers would never have these colorful and pleasing fonts. Windows just copied the Mac, so we can say that no personal computer except the Mac will have these fonts. If I hadn't dropped out of school, I wouldn't have taken this calligraphy class, and then personal computers might not have such wonderful fonts. Of course, when I was in college, it was impossible to connect these points in advance. However, looking back on all this ten years later, it suddenly became clear.
Again, when looking forward, it is impossible to connect these points, only when looking back. So you must firmly believe that these points will be connected in some form one day in the future. You must hold on to something-your courage, destiny, life, cause and effect, etc. This idea has been tried and tested, and it is also the source of all the changes in my life.
My second story is about love and loss.
I am lucky because I found something I like to do very early. When I was twenty, Woz and I founded Apple in my parents' garage. We work hard. 10 years later, Apple has grown from a small fight between two people in the garage to a large company with more than 4,000 employees and a value of $2 billion. At that time, our best product-Macintosh-was only launched for one year, and I just turned 30. Then, I was fired. How did you get fired from the company you founded? Well, when Apple was growing up, we hired someone I thought was very talented to manage the company with me. In the first year, everything went well. But then we disagreed about the future and finally quarreled. At that time, the board of directors was on his side. So, at the age of thirty, I came out, in front of everyone. The pillar of my life collapsed, and the blow was devastating.
In the first few months, I really didn't know what to do. I feel that I let down the previous generation of entrepreneurs, and I dropped the baton they passed on to me. I met david parker and bob noyce and apologized to them for screwing up. My failure is well known, and I even thought about escaping from Silicon Valley. However, I gradually understand one thing-I still love what I do, and this has not changed at all in Apple's Waterloo. I was fired, but I still like my job. So, I decided to make a comeback.
I didn't realize this at the time, but it turned out that being fired from Apple was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. The burden of successful people is gone, and some are just the relaxed feeling of novices, and they are no longer so confident about all kinds of things. This allows me to travel light and enter one of the most creative stages of my life.
In the NeXT five years, I started a company called Next and a company called Pixar, and fell in love with an extraordinary woman who later became my wife. Pixar made the world's first computer-generated animated film Toy Story. Pixar is now the most successful animation studio in the world. After a series of karma, Apple bought NeXT, and I returned to Apple. The technology we developed at NeXT has become the key to Apple's revival today. I also established a happy family with Lawrence.
I'm sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. This is a bitter medicine, but I think patients need it. Sometimes, life will hit you on the head with a brick, but don't lose faith. I firmly believe that the only motivation for my progress is that I am doing what I love. You must find something you like to do. Work is like this, so is love. Your job will take up a large part of your life. Only when you believe that you are doing great work can you be truly satisfied. The premise of doing great work is that you like what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking and don't stop. As long as it is what your heart yearns for, you will find it. Like any beautiful love, it will only get better with the passage of time. So keep looking until you find it. Don't stop.
My third story is about death.
When I was seventeen, I read a sentence to the effect: "If you live every day as if it were your last, then one day you will be on the right track." This sentence left a deep impression on me. Since then, for the next 33 years, I will look in the mirror every morning and ask myself, "If today is the last day of my life, would I want to do what I want to do today?" As long as the answer is "no" for several days in a row, I know I need to make some changes.
Remembering that I am going to die is the most important means to help me make important decisions in my life. Because almost everything-all external expectations, all glory, all fear of embarrassment and failure-is vulnerable to death, and the rest is really important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know. It can help you avoid falling into the trap of thinking that you feel lost. When you are naked and carefree, there is no reason not to follow your heart.
I was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago. At 7: 30 in the morning, the scan clearly showed that there was a tumor in the pancreas. I don't even know what a pancreas is. The doctor told me that this is definitely incurable cancer, and I still have three to six months to live. My self goes home and settles everything for me, which is the doctor's hint to the dying patient. That means telling your children about the next ten years in just a few months. This means arranging everything and making life as easy as possible for your family. This means saying goodbye.
I spent the whole day making a diagnosis. That night, I had a biopsy. The doctor put an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach, and then into my intestines. He inserted a needle into my pancreas and took some cells from the tumor. I was drugged, but my wife was there. Later, she told me that doctors were ecstatic when they observed these cells under a microscope, because this is an extremely rare pancreatic cancer that can be cured by surgery. I had an operation and now I'm cured.
That was my closest to death, and I hope it will be my closest to death in the next few decades. In the past, death was just a useful concept for me, but it was limited to the knowledge level. After coming back from the dead, I can tell you more definitely now:
Nobody wants to die. Even those who want to go to heaven will not use death as a means. But death is the same destination for each of us, and no one can escape. That's what death should be like. Because death may be the best creation of life. Death is a life-changing factor, bringing forth the old and bringing forth the new. Now, you are new here, but soon, you will get older and be cleared away. I'm sorry, it's too dramatic, but it's true.
Your time is limited, don't waste it on repeating other people's lives. Don't be bound by dogma-it is the product of living under other people's thinking. Don't let the noisy opinions of others drown out your inner voice. Most importantly, you should have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. To some extent, they know what kind of person you want to be, and everything else is secondary.
When I was young, there was a wonderful book called Global Catalogue, which was one of the bibles of our generation. It was founded by a man named Stuart Brand in Monroe Park not far from here. The magic of his poetry enriches the book. It was in the late 1960s, before personal computers and desktop publishing appeared, so this book was all made of typewriters, scissors and polarizers. It is a bit like Google in book form, which was born 35 years earlier than the real Google: it is idealistic and full of ingenious methods and extraordinary ideas.
Stuart and his team published several issues of the Global Catalogue, and then when it completed its mission, they published the last issue. It was in the mid-1970s, when I was your age. The back cover of the last issue is a picture of a country road in the early morning, which is the kind of road where you like adventure and will hitchhike. There is a passage at the bottom of the photo: if you are thirsty for knowledge, you are stupid. This is their farewell speech to stop publishing. If you are eager for knowledge, you will become stupid. This is my motto all the time. Now, when you are about to graduate and start a new journey, I am by your side.
If you are eager for knowledge, you will become stupid.
Thank you!
