Dachengmen is a major building in the Confucius Temple in Qufu. There are many famous inscriptions on the east and west in Dachengmen. There are 17 Han steles and famous steles in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, such as Zhang Menglong stele and Confucius Temple stele. There are more than 1 monuments in the west, mainly paintings, such as Game Diagram, Fish Watching Diagram and Acrobatic Diagram. In the north of the east and west, there are 584 calligraphy stone carvings by famous calligraphers in past dynasties, including the handwriting of some famous calligraphers since the Jin and Tang Dynasties. In addition to Chinese, there are also Ba Si Ba Wen, Manchu and so on. There are 12 stone carvings embedded in the Temple of the Monument, which are based on the painting of the Song Dynasty and supplemented by Yang Weiyang. It is an early set of "comic books" with complete characters' stories in China, vividly depicting the main activities of Confucius' life.
