Liu Yang (1963~), a Beijinger, Manchu, is a pen name. He studied in Central Academy of Fine Arts, School of Journalism and Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, studied abroad, and worked as a journalist, editor, program host and university teacher for a long time. His personal monographs include: Liu Yang Painting Collection, Liu Yang Poetry Collection, China Animal Painting Techniques Collection, China Modern Calligraphy and Printing History, Liu Yang Art Theory, University Art, Liu Yang Landscape Painting Collection, Liu Yang Animal Flower and Bird Painting Collection, Art and Technology Law Series, Twentieth Century Liu Yang Painting Collection and Century Yimeng.

He is a member of China Artists Association, China Calligraphers Association, an artist recognized by the Art Quality Department of the Cultural Market Development Center of the Ministry of Culture, a member of China Culture and Art Development Promotion Association, a member of China Calligraphy Art Research Association, a member of china law society, a member of China Modern Poetry Society, a member of China Oriental Culture Research Association, a member of Canadian World Calligraphers Association, a vice chairman of artists' academic committee, and a consultant of Singapore Shenzhou Art Academy. Vice-chairman and visiting professor of the US-China Artists Committee, registered artist of the Celebrity Research Center of Cambridge University, member of the China-Japan Association for the Promotion of Cultural and Artistic Exchanges, and painter and painter of works publicly photographed at Guardian International Art Auction.
