Brief introduction of Xiyan Lake

Xiyan Lake is located in the former residence of Wang Xizhi in Linyi City. Xiyan Lake is facing the gate, covering an area of about 7 mu. The legend of Wang Xizhi's "middle school book in the pool, the water in the pool is all black" is widely circulated in the local area. Linyi is an ancient historical and cultural city. It is the hometown of Wang Xizhi, a "book saint". Wang Xizhi's former residence is located at No.20, Xiyanhu Street, Linyi City. This is a classical garden-style building. According to legend, Wang Xizhi often went to the pool to wash inkstones after practicing calligraphy hard in his childhood. After a long time, the water in the pool turned black, so people called it "West Wild Goose Lake" and ancient scholars also called it "Mo Chi". In the north of West Wild Goose Lake, there is an inkstone pavilion. There are two stone tablets in the pavilion, "Wang Youjun Washing Ink Stone" and "West Wild Goose Lake", with simple and vigorous handwriting. To NATO 10 meter, that is, 2 meters from the ground, there is a book drying platform of 150 square meter, which was the place where the Wangs dried books at that time. There are five antique buildings, covering an area of 200 square meters, about 0/0 meter north of Daishu Taipei. They are Langya Academy built by modern people, which contains the inscriptions of Wang Xizhi and the original works of famous calligraphers. On the west side of the former residence is a 100-meter-long calligraphy tablet gallery, all written by famous contemporary calligraphers. Weeping willows are planted in Chi Pan, with pavilions, bridges and bamboo forests on the east side, and the scenery is pleasant. A few years ago, a dredging was carried out, and several sections of thick bluestone broken columns and four large tanks were found, two of which were preserved in ancient times.
