The Road Show Gongci is a humanistic memorial hall to commemorate Yan Zhenqing, a famous official and outstanding calligrapher in Tang Dynasty, to carry forward the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, to study, discuss and exchange calligraphy art, to cultivate calligraphy talents, and to enjoy cultural leisure and tourism. Founded in 1998, it is a cultural relic protection unit in Nanjing. At present, the road show temple covers an area of more than 1800 square meters. Except for the main hall, the annex hall, the east-west wing and the splayed wall, they were all repaired according to the original historical appearance. In addition, it has built new buildings, such as the gatehouse, the release well pavilion and the winding corridor. On this basis, the Yan Zhenqing Memorial Hall was built. The newly-built Yan Zhenqing Memorial Hall has a winding path leading to a secluded place and is full of ink. The large white marble stone carving in front of the passage is engraved with the "Book Soul" inscribed by a famous female calligrapher, which is elegant and charming. Looking around the walls, there are 40 calligraphy plaques, 22 plaques of Japanese book lovers with unique meaning and rhyme, and 18 plaques of Mo Bao, a famous national, provincial and municipal calligraphy association in China. Strolling into the annex, there is a bronze bust of Yan Zhenqing. Parked in the main hall, Yan Zhenqing's portrait hangs on the wall in the middle. On both sides of the portrait are the couplets of Shen Peng, then vice chairman of the National Calligraphy Association, whose calligraphy pen is a snake. Above, Zhao Puchu, former vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, inscribed the title of "Book Sage", and the horizontal plaque is shining. In addition, the literature and history materials, objects, rubbings and rubbings displayed in the museum introduce Yan Zhenqing's life, career achievements and outstanding calligraphy art in detail, which is refreshing.
