What pen is commonly used in hard pen calligraphy?

Hard pen calligraphy usually includes pens, ballpoint pens, dip pens, pencils, plastic pens, bamboo pens, wooden pens and iron pens.

If you are a beginner, I personally suggest that it is better to use a pen fluently, especially carbon ink. Always rinse with clean water after use, because carbon ink is easy to block the pen.

(1) pen tip material

Novice/kloc-you can buy domestic products within 0/00 yuan, which is not too expensive. It varies from person to person, and you can sell expensive pens when you write well in the future. Iridium-tipped pens have low gold content, hard nib, good elasticity, durability and low price, and are suitable for everyone, including beginners. As for what an iridium pen is, it's all within 100, and you can't take it off without thousands of gold tips.

(2) Writing shape

It is recommended to choose a big bag-tip pen (called bright tip in some places), and it is not recommended to choose a bag-tip pen (called dark tip in some places). One is that the nib is wrapped, which is not atmospheric, and the other is that cleaning is troublesome. Of course, it doesn't matter much if you look at your personal preferences.

Personally not recommended: ballpoint pens and gel pens are not recommended. Because the pen tip of ballpoint pen is too slippery and the pen tip of signature pen is too hard, although these writing tools are cheap and convenient, their inherent shortcomings are not conducive to the stroke feeling and pen lifting skills when practicing Chinese characters.
