The Tiansheng reign of the Song Dynasty lasted from 1023 to November 1032. Tiansheng was the reign name of Renzong Zhao Zhen of the Song Dynasty. The Northern Song Dynasty used this reign name for 10 years. Song Renzong Zhao Zhen, originally named Zhao Yiyi, was the fourth emperor of the Song Dynasty. He reigned from March 23, 1022 to April 30, 1063. He was the sixth son of Song Zhenzong Zhao Heng, and his mother was Concubine Li Chen.
During the reign of Zhao Zhen, the economy of the Northern Song Dynasty prospered, and science, technology and culture also developed greatly. Historians summarize his reign as the reign of Renzong. Zhao Zhen is good at calligraphy, especially Fei Bai Shu. There are one hundred volumes of "Yu Zhi Ji", and his poems are recorded in "Complete Poems of the Song Dynasty". In response to the increasingly serious land annexation and redundant officials, soldiers, and expenses in the mid-Song Dynasty, Zhao Zhen appointed Fan Zhongyan and others to launch the "Qingli New Deal" in the third year of Qingli.
