Xiang Yanxian Zen master Li Chen
Thousands of rocks and valleys are tireless, and Gao Yuan can only be known from a distance.
Can the stream stay? After all, the sea is a wave.
Philosophical review:
1. Difficult and tortuous life and road can best temper people's will and character and increase their knowledge and talents. People who aim high will never be satisfied with the status quo and revel in the achievements they have made. They must continue to work hard and make up their minds to do a great thing before they can realize their wishes. This is enough to enlighten and inspire people: to abandon the sparrow's ambition and make great achievements.
Brief introduction of the author
Master Xiang Yan was a monk in Lushan Mountain.
Li Chen (AD 8 10-859), namely Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. When he was in office (846-859 AD), he paid attention to Cody and often sang poems with bachelors. There are six complete Tang poems.
A brief explanation of a sentence
Solve the problem: Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty once hid in the mountains as a monk. I once walked with Zen master Xiang Yanxian. The Zen master said that he carried a waterfall and got a poem, but the next one couldn't catch up. Xuanzong is willing to continue. So the Zen master said the first two sentences, and Xuanzong continued the last two sentences, synthesizing a magnificent and passionate poem. Conjunction: two or more people write a poem and then make sentences in turn, which can be connected into an article. One person can make one, two or more sentences. It's hard to write a good work like this. Gully: Gully, gully. Stream: A stream between two mountains.
Feng Yunshan, the southern king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, wrote a poem about waterfalls, "You don't have to work hard on rocks, but you don't know Gao Yuan" to give you strong feelings. His poem changed from this Tang poem to numbers. The waterfall in this poem.
It is no accident that the elephant is completely anthropomorphic and full of verve, and it is appreciated by Feng Yunshan.
The first sentence of this poem is the origin of the waterfall. In the depths of the mountains, there are countless unknown trickles that gradually converge into huge mountain springs. After experiencing the obstacles of "thousands of rocks and valleys", it finally reached the cliff and "plummeted" to form a spectacular waterfall. This sentence captures the tortuous process of waterfall formation and endows inanimate objects with vivid characters. The word "spare no effort" is full of personification and praise, which can be read by a famous saying in Mencius: "Heaven will do great things for the people of Sri Lanka, and it must first suffer from its mind, work hard for its bones and muscles, starve its body and empty its body, so it can endure and get what it can't." Difficulties can temper great personality. This sentence seems to imply such a philosophy.
Looking at the giant waterfall, cliff fossils, beads hanging upside down, people have the feeling that "water flies down three thousands of feet, and it is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen for nine days", but they can't get a glimpse of its "source". Only when you look from a distance and "look at the hanging waterfall in Qianchuan" do you know that it comes from the misty peak. The second sentence focuses on the lofty weather of the waterfall, which embodies people's lofty aspirations and has the meaning of discerning heroes. "The source is high" is far beyond the reach of the potential, which implies that "the sea will eventually".
Writing about waterfalls has experienced extraordinary experiences and high morals, portraying the most prominent characteristics of its personality, and at the same time, it is full of lofty sentiments, which fully builds momentum for the latter two sentences. The third sentence suddenly talks about "streams", taking care of the "thousands of rocks and valleys" in the first sentence, which is a small swing in poetry. When the mountain spring runs in the ravine, there will be many obstacles, which seems to persuade it to stay. "Why rush down the mountain and add waves to the world" (Bai Juyi's Bai Yunchun). However, the happiness of a stream can't satisfy it. It keeps opening its future to the sea with its heart. Only in this way can it become a waterfall in front of the cliff and finally return to the eastern sea. Because of the circuitous third sentence, the last sentence is more powerful. "Can" and "eventually" echo back and forth, showing the confidence and determination to forge ahead. The word "making waves" is extremely vivid, which makes people see the vast white waves like mountains. From the words "stay" and "return", we can realize that the last two sentences are still personalized, which reminds people of the small ambition of abandoning sparrows and the lofty sentiments of Mu Honghu. The role of the waterfall is thus completed.
The author of this poem is an emperor and a monk. According to "Geng Xi Shi Hua", "When I was young, I took Wu Zongji as a taboo and lived in seclusion as a monk. On a day trip, I met a monk named Huang Baili (according to the Buddhist calendar, it should be a monk named Xiang Yanxian). Because Huang Berberis was in Haichang when Xuanzong went to Lushan Mountain, it was impossible to walk with him and watch the waterfall together. Huang Berberis said,' I get a couplet when I recite this, but I don't get the next rhyme.' Xuanzong said,' It is advisable to continue it.' Later, Xuanzong actually practiced his position, and his ambition was first seen in this poem. "Visible, Jackson's first two sentences, there is a reference to the intention of Xuanzong's situation at that time; Xuanzong continued the last two sentences, conveying the feelings of being unwilling to be lonely and wanting to make a difference. Such a poem, which is based on objects, depicts the artistic image of a magnificent waterfall breaking through everything. It is full of passion, makes people excited and encourages reading, so it can be loved by Feng Yunshan, the leader of the peasant revolution. The artistic image is often greater than the author's thought, which is also an obvious example.
