Member of China Calligraphers Association, honorary director of Shanxi Branch of China Calligraphers Association and director of Shanxi Educators Calligraphy Association. Good at calligraphy and long poems. His works and biographies have been compiled into China Dictionary of Modern Calligraphy Names, Achievements of Contemporary China Calligraphy Art, List of Members of China Calligraphers Association and Who's Who of China Contemporary Art, etc. Since 198 1, his calligraphy works have participated in many book fairs inside and outside the province, and his works have been selected for the 4th National Book Fair, the 1st China Book Fair and Luoyang International Buddhist Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. His works were carved in Taibai forest of steles in Sichuan, West Lake forest of Yingzhou and Cliff forest of Zanhuang, and published in newspapers and books at home and abroad for many times. In 2003, he was awarded the title of "Member of the Second China Calligraphers Association" by China Calligraphers Association and was commended.
