Calligraphy works in the Great Hall of the People

The Great Hall of the People, as one of the "Top Ten Buildings in the Capital" built on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, first gives people the impression that it is a place for holding large-scale gatherings. However, few people know that this behemoth, which took less than a year from design, construction to decoration, is another art treasure house outside the Forbidden City.

"The World's No.1 Pavilion" was inscribed by Mao Zedong. The Great Hall of the People is the most magnificent of the top ten buildings in the capital, which was built to welcome the 10 anniversary of the founding of New China. 1in the early morning of September 9th, 959, president Mao Zedong inspected the construction site and named the building "Great Hall of the People". Since then, the Great Hall of the People has shouldered a great historical mission and, as Mao Zedong hoped, has become a discussion hall for the benefit of the people.
