Nankai school clock is located in the back square of the main building of Nankai University, which is a symbol of Nankai spirit. The school clock was designed by Wang Zhongquan, director of Nanjing Jinling Ancient Art Bronze Research Institute and designer of Nanjing Jinghai Temple "Jingshizhong", and cast by Jiangsu Metallurgical Machinery Factory. ?

The copper cast brackets on both sides are also bell-shaped, and there is a beam on the bracket with a calibration clock hanging on it. This clock is very big, weighing more than 3000 kilograms. Clock height 1.937 meters, indicating that Nankai people should remember that the Japanese bombed Nankai at 1937; There are 60 school emblems engraved on the clock, symbolizing the 60th anniversary of the school. The south side of the clock is the word "Nankai", the east side is the school song, the north side is the school motto, and the west side is the 80-word inscription of the school clock, which was written by Mr. Wang Dajin and famous calligraphers Kang Yin and Kang Muru. In front of the base of the clock, there is an inclined stone tablet engraved with "recasting the clock". The mallet and the mallet of Nanjing Jingshizhong produced a century-old sandalwood.
