Li Shutong, born on 1880123, also known as Li Xishuang, Ang Lee and Li Liang, is a famous musician, art educator and calligrapher, and also one of the pioneers of China's drama.
After studying in Japan and returning to China, Li Shutong worked as a teacher and editor, and later became a monk. He was known as Master Hony. On 1942, he died in Yixian Room, Wenling Nursing Home, Buerci, Quanzhou.
Li Shutong's representative works include Nantah School Song, Evening Song, Spring outing, Dream, Flower Fragrance and so on. He is one of the pioneers of China's oil paintings and advertising paintings, and also a pioneer of the New Culture Movement and cultural exchanges between China and the West.
