Why learn calligraphy?

Question 1: Is it difficult to learn calligraphy? As long as you like, it's not difficult.

The most important thing is persistence.

For beginners, strokes are very important. You must lay a solid foundation. You can draw mosquito-repellent incense curves, wavy lines and the like. I suggest you join the professional calligraphy group in Zhong Shuhui. There are fourteen professional calligraphy groups in Zhong Shuhui. With teachers, you can avoid detours. Teachers are very professional, many experts. I hope you can learn something.

Question 2: Why do pupils learn calligraphy? First, through learning, students' observation ability, analysis ability and expression ability can be cultivated. Calligraphy teachers consciously guide students to observe and analyze the difference in shape between "variable horizontal" and "basic horizontal", and how to express it in the writing process to achieve this effect. Throughout the process of calligraphy teaching, it is a process of "observation-analysis-writing". In the long run, students' abilities of observation, analysis and expression will certainly be developed.

Second, learning calligraphy can promote students to develop meticulous, focused, calm and lasting learning quality. As Mr. Guo Moruo once said, "we should write the words in line with the norms, more correct, cleaner and easier to recognize." It is good to form such a habit, which can make people careful, easy to concentrate and considerate. It's easy to get things done hastily, carelessly and arbitrarily. Practicing calligraphy can gradually get rid of these problems. "

Why can learning calligraphy make people careful and easy to concentrate? Because calligraphy is a very delicate activity. If you want to write a good hand, you must concentrate on it, concentrate on it, carefully observe the structure of the word, use your brain, eyes and hands to correspond, and accurately control the priorities of writing. In this way, over time, a person's psychological quality can change imperceptibly, and he can develop the habit of being calm and calm. Once students develop good learning quality, it will be very beneficial to the study of other courses and even the future development.

Thirdly, by studying calligraphy, students' aesthetic taste can be cultivated. Because Chinese characters are square characters composed of lines, they have aesthetic value. In fact, calligraphy expresses a sense of * * *, and describes the artistic conception with the density of structure, the weight of stippling and the slowness of pen movement.

Of course, as a primary school student, it is difficult to ask them to understand and appreciate the beauty at this level at once. First of all, in the usual teaching, students are required to write according to the correct stroke order, pay attention to the echo law between strokes, and strive to write correctly, regularly and neatly first, and then write beautifully; Furthermore, through the appreciation of famous posts and the guidance of calligraphy skills, students can gradually feel the physical beauty of Chinese characters, help them establish a correct aesthetic view, and let them know what beauty is and how to be more beautiful; Finally, infect students with beauty and stimulate their desire to pursue and create beauty.

Fourthly, learning calligraphy is conducive to developing students' healthy personality and cultivating their innovative spirit. At present, the new teaching concept advocates respecting students' unique feelings, developing students' healthy personality and cultivating students' innovative ability. In view of this goal, the calligraphy garden will be a fertile ground for nourishing a hundred flowers.

Because the life of art lies in individuality, this field has always been generous in accepting all kinds of beauty, and no one will deny the beauty of official script without liking it. While learning to appreciate and accept the beauty in other people's minds, people can learn from each other's strengths according to their own preferences to grow the beauty in your mind; Secondly, in this field, we have been advocating innovation and pursuing personalized things.

A painter once said: "To treat tradition, we should fight with the greatest skill and the greatest courage!" Play in order to learn from others, hoping to stand on the shoulders of giants and play out a brand-new self. All innovations begin with imitation. Therefore, copying in calligraphy is only a means of learning and inheritance, and it is for innovation. Through copying, we have accumulated a lot of rich materials in our brains, paving the way for future creation. Every creation is a leap from quantity to quality. Whether this creation is successful or not, it more or less contains its own unique style. Therefore, in calligraphy teaching, the process from copying to creation is actually to let students unconsciously move from imitation to innovation.

Maybe in many people's eyes, Chinese characters are just symbols that carry information. In fact, Chinese characters are also a kind of culture, because every Chinese character has accumulated the wisdom and essence of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.

Teachers make full use of the advantages of teaching materials in calligraphy teaching, tap the potential of teaching materials, rely on teaching materials, and strive to explore the methods of ancient Chinese characters in China with students. In the usual practice, there are also stories of famous calligraphers learning books in the past dynasties, which set an example for students. This can not only stimulate students' interest in learning, but also cultivate students' love for national culture. China characters not only accumulate the wisdom and culture of the Chinese nation, but also embody a national spirit.

Therefore, for a nation, writing is a kind of cohesion. Teaching children to write Chinese characters is to let them know and experience national culture, thoughts and feelings, but also to know and experience a national spirit ... >>

Question 3: Why do you have to learn regular script first to learn calligraphy? No, no, upstairs.

Cursive script was born before regular script. Didn't the ancients invent regular script before? Can't write cursive?

Therefore, no matter what style of writing, it has its own unique artistic rules. For example, not all great calligraphers in history can do it. Some people have excellent cursive script, and regular script is average. Regular script is also good, but the lines and grass are very general.

If it is the basis of practicing calligraphy, personally, I think official script is better. It can be said that official script not only has the standard of regular script, but also has the characteristics of learning six scripts (directly from seal script). It can not only standardize, but also learn the structure and internal meaning of Chinese characters. Moreover, the structure is dominated by eight points and symmetrical. As long as you master this principle, it is easy to improve your writing level in a short time, and it is easy for beginners to get started quickly and build confidence. Wei Bei is very helpful to learn regular script in the future.

Of course, this is not absolute. For example, I will start with running script directly, taking into account regular script.

Therefore, learning books must start with regular script, which is not necessarily right.

Question 4: Why do you want to learn calligraphy? On the one hand, we should write well, on the other hand, learning calligraphy can improve our self-cultivation, make people quiet and cultivate their temperament, especially for impatient friends. It's good for learning calligraphy. Learning calligraphy can also improve one's aesthetic taste and enrich one's spare time. Learning calligraphy can also help us understand the evolution of Chinese characters in China culture, and thus understand the progress of China civilization. Finally, learning calligraphy can also improve our artistic accomplishment. In a word, people from China should know China's calligraphy and have a certain level of writing. Those who are not interested in China can also study it. I hope we don't lose to foreigners!

Question 5: Why do teenagers learn calligraphy? Who in China can forget the magnificent and touching scene at the opening ceremony of "2008 Beijing Olympic Games"-calligraphy, a treasure of national culture, once again lit up the eyes of every China person with her brilliant light, and the pride of a certain nation comes from the deep heart!

Calligraphy is a symbol of ancient oriental civilization. As a young friend after Yan Huang, it is even more responsible to inherit and carry forward her, so it should be the unshirkable historical mission and responsibility of young people to learn and inherit traditional calligraphy.

Calligraphy is an art with national spirit connotation, which contains rich knowledge of literature, history, philosophy and aesthetics. Calligraphy has evolved with the historical development of Chinese characters and nations. Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang Dynasty, Wen Ding in Zhou Dynasty, Xiao Zhuan in Qin Dynasty, Li Shu in Han Dynasty, and dazzling calligraphy works in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. From these rich accumulations, we can not only know the man of the hour in the field of calligraphy, but also know the history. Through calligraphy, we will feel the influence of national spirit and culture more. If teenagers can persist in and learn calligraphy for a long time in their own growth process, they will certainly gain the greatest spiritual wealth in life.

Calligraphy and literature are inseparable. While learning calligraphy techniques, the beauty of literature and art permeates between the lines of every classic work, including the natural beauty of harmony, the relaxed and happy state of mind and the overlord spirit of "who is in charge of ups and downs in the vast land" ... Calligraphy brings spiritual enjoyment and is an aesthetic pleasure that accompanies people all their lives.

Learning calligraphy can also enlighten wisdom and cultivate comprehensive ability. Calligraphy learning is a comprehensive process of using both hands and brains. In the whole learning process, arousing the senses through listening, watching, thinking, recording, speaking, comparing and writing is an effective means to cultivate teenagers' comprehensive ability, enlighten their wisdom and improve their quality.

Learning calligraphy is beneficial to the healthy development of body and mind. Calligraphers throughout the ages, whether knowledgeable, elegant and ambitious, are happy, healthy and long-lived. Learning calligraphy requires long-term continuous learning and creation, which can exercise perseverance and perseverance. Isn't this quality a necessary quality for teenagers to face life challenges and realize their ideals in the future?

Learning calligraphy still has extensive application value in real life. Some students and parents think that everything can be solved by computer now, and writing is outdated and impractical. This understanding is very wrong and one-sided! Words are a person's facade and also represent a person's comprehensive quality. Nowadays, many companies require candidates to write "application registration form and resume" by hand, and many people are eliminated in the fierce competition because of their poor writing level. There are also many students who have lost a lot of papers in various exams because they neglected calligraphy learning! At present, the last exam for personnel sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is calligraphy, and many people have been eliminated in this final exam because it has involved the image of a country; The Ministry of Education issued the writing standard and formulated the Grading Standards and Assessment Methods of Chinese Character Writing for Primary and Secondary School Students, requiring primary and secondary school students to write well and inherit Chinese culture. At present, China Book Association is holding a nationwide activity of "Calligraphy Entering Every Family". With the increasing national strength and the inheritance and development of traditional culture in China, a new * * * is coming!

"Until the river bank widens at low tide, no wind blows my lonely sail." It's time to learn China's calligraphy.

Question 6: Why do children learn calligraphy? This is part of my article "On the Aesthetic Function of Calligraphy Education" published in China Calligraphy Newspaper on June 20th, 2006. I hope I can help you.

First of all, learning calligraphy can exercise and improve people's observation ability. Getting close to ancient times is the only way to learn calligraphy. When you come into close contact with ancient sages and masterpieces again and again, the first thing to exercise is observation ability. In the Tang Dynasty, Sun once said, "Those who look at it are fine, while those who draw it are expensive." If you can't improve your observation ability, you can't see the subtlety of the book, and you can't reproduce its mystery in your hands. For a kind of calligraphy, copybooks can never be understood overnight. After learning, every time you observe carefully, you will have new feelings and gains, which is also the charm and essence of calligraphy art.

Secondly, the learning process of calligraphy can temper people's will and develop good behavior habits. The learning process of calligraphy can be divided into three stages: the first stage is to learn from the classics, to be in-depth, and the level of copying should be both physical and mental; The second stage is to come out on the basis of studying classics and form the primary style of self through constant flexibility and practice; The third stage is to draw inferences from others and form your own writing language on the basis of repeated practice. This written language was learned from the ancients and became ancient. Qi Baishi once said: "The beauty of painting lies between similarity and dissimilarity. If it is not similar, it will be kitsch, and if it is too similar, it will deceive the world." Calligraphy and painting are in the same strain, and this principle can also be used in calligraphy art. At this stage, the dialectical unity of self and tradition is needed. The study of calligraphy is a lifelong course, and you can hone your perseverance in the process of repeated study. Every practice of observation, thinking and scribbling is a representation of the awe of ancient sages and classic works, and a recognition and promotion of the culture of pen, ink and paper. The placement of books and cases, as well as the cleanliness of pens and ink, can promote learners to develop good behavior habits.

Third, the purpose of learning calligraphy is to create yourself. The ultimate goal of learning calligraphy is not to reproduce the tradition, but to inherit and innovate the tradition. The innovation of China's calligraphy is not passive water. The first is the cognition of China traditional culture, and the inheritance of Chinese characters, brushwork, composition and pen and ink. Then, it creates its own writing symbols and language through its own study, thinking and practice. Self-creation is the ultimate goal of calligraphy learners, but this goal needs the supply of comprehensive cultivation and unremitting thinking to support it. It is not a purely technical exercise, and not everyone can achieve this ultimate goal.

Fourthly, calligraphy education can help students form a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.

Any art form is by no means a simple skill training, especially China's traditional art, which has a wider aesthetic implication. Throughout the history of calligraphy in China, every evolution of the five calligraphy styles, namely seal script, official script, regular script, running script and cursive script, is not only a change of writing form, but also a historical choice and cultural change, all of which contain the philosophical thoughts of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Calligraphy art is the comprehensive embodiment of China's philosophy. Skills close to Taoism. For an art form, technology is a metaphysical road, while aesthetics and learning are a metaphysical road. The primary stage of traditional art in China is mainly skill training, but the final competition is learning, learning accumulation and aesthetic level. China's traditional calligraphy masterpieces of past dynasties were divorced from the historical background and literal meaning at that time, and could not become well-known masterpieces. Through the study of calligraphy, a person with correct aesthetic feelings will not be blinded by the appearance of things, and can correctly analyze and grasp the essence through the appearance, which will help students form a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.

Fifth, calligraphy education can improve students' cognition and appreciation of beauty.

The objective things that can arouse people's aesthetic feeling are all people's aesthetic objects and belong to the category of aesthetic education. Art is a special social form. Artists create artistic images through specific artistic means to reflect real life and express people's thoughts and feelings. Artistic beauty is more complicated than realistic beauty. Artistic beauty is pure and permanent, while realistic beauty is easy to disappear. The art of beauty has the characteristics of entertaining and educating and the aesthetic power of cultivating temperament. The aesthetic value embodied in calligraphy education is essentially the same as that embodied in other art education. Calligraphy art shows a specific temperament and artistic conception by virtue of the lines, physical structure, chapter layout and ink color changes of Chinese characters, and accumulates the writer's spiritual feelings and aesthetic characteristics.

Question 7: Why do we have to start with learning ancient calligraphy? Ancient famous calligraphy has long been a model for calligraphy learners in past dynasties. It is not an adventurous experience for modern people to learn ancient famous calligraphy. Modern calligraphy is really good, but historical evaluation is hard to say. Only post-modern people know whether today's calligraphers' works are the essence worthy of inheritance.

Question 8: Learn seal script or regular script first? What is the reason? From the perspective of calligraphy history, regular script is not the earliest writing. Seal script, official script, Zhang Hui and cursive script are all earlier than regular script. Why should regular script become the only way to get started? So before regular script appeared (let's just take Zhong You as the boundary), there were no calligraphers?

Since ancient times, many great calligraphers can't write regular script at all. There is a specialization in the art, not every calligrapher can write regular script, and there is no necessary causal relationship between regular script, cursive script and official script. When we look at the history of calligraphy from a historical and objective perspective, we will forget that regular script is not necessary for getting started.

So can we just start with cursive script? Personally, I think it is not impossible. However, I still think that if you really want to be a calligrapher, it is better to start with official books (Kai, Zhuan and Li). Because this kind of formal book is formal in style, independent in strokes, stable in structure and easy to be mastered by beginners. For example, some famous calligraphy majors in the Academy of Fine Arts are mainly seal script, and some colleges are mainly official script. Now, we should also see that many calligraphy professional examinations basically relaxed the regular script style before the Tang Dynasty, even in Wei Bei.

There is no difference in the five calligraphy styles of Zhengcaoli seal script, and regular script is not a low-level calligraphy style. On the contrary, writing regular script is more difficult than writing cursive script. The calligraphy style of beginners is nothing more than training and copying, so that beginners can master the control ability and modeling ability of using pens.

If you want to start learning calligraphy, I don't suggest you start with it, especially Yan.

Question 9: Why do you study calligraphy? On the one hand, you should write well. On the other hand, learning calligraphy can improve one's self-cultivation, calm people down and cultivate one's temperament. Especially for impatient friends, learning calligraphy is very beneficial.
