An 80-word calligraphy essay
I like calligraphy. Everyone has his own hobbies. Some people like Chinese painting, some people like dulcimer, some people like Go, and my biggest hobby is calligraphy. Calligraphy refers to the art of writing characters, especially the art of writing Chinese characters with a brush. I like calligraphy because it has many fonts: "official script, regular script, cursive script and running script." Each font has its own unique style, and my favorite is official script. This font is very beautiful when it is flat on the right. I am an impatient girl and never want to sit quietly for a few minutes. But learning calligraphy requires sitting still and calming down, which has become an insurmountable obstacle for me. So, I sit at home alone every day without talking, holding a brush and calming my heart. Finally, through my long-term efforts, no matter how impetuous my personality is, I just need to pick up a brush and put it all behind me. To tell the truth, I also encountered many difficulties on the way to learn calligraphy, but I persisted. I have never loved brush calligraphy, but I have become a girl who regards calligraphy as a friend. In fact, after studying calligraphy for three years, I not only learned to write a good hand, but also let me know that in our eyes, the glorious side of others is obtained through our own efforts.
