Lai Chusheng is a key figure in the revival of contemporary Xiao Zhuan. His accomplishments in painting and calligraphy absorbed the essence of tradition and made bold innovations. His Xiao-shaped seal is exquisite in shape, flexible and natural, innovative in knife cutting and layout, innovative and innovative, which is undoubtedly a historical monument. Lai Chusheng's seal script draws on the essence of tradition. Lai Shi once said, "My seal script is somewhat different from others'." When it comes to experience, I only have two points, one is to learn from Korean bricks, and the other is to sum up. It can be seen that the simple charm of this Han stone directly affects the formation of his work style. His clever reference to the inscriptions on bronzes in Yin and Shang Dynasties, with strong pictographs and similar patterns, played an important role in the concise summary and lofty charm of his later works. In his works, there is no trace of expression, and art has made rapid progress in the year of listening. Before and after the ancient times, the Xiao-shaped seal cutting was simple and old, vigorous and Gu Zhuo, which raised the seal cutting to a state of perfection. Its Xiao Zhuan is the best in the world, combining Han portraits and ancient Xiao Zhuan in one furnace. The small seal he carved has the charm of carving stone with a knife. Zodiac, Buddha statues, portraits, flowers, grass insects and so on are all engraved. Taking the knife as a ghost, his expression is perfect. Set calligraphy, Chinese painting, seal cutting in one. The lines on the printing surface are vast, full of stains and peeling, full of spirituality, and have a natural interest in gorgeous and simple styles, leading today's printing altar.
