Introduction to brush strokes

There is an introduction about calligraphy writing, which is as follows:

1, sit at your desk with your upper body straight, keep your eyes at about 45 degrees from the desktop, and don't tilt your head left and right. Keep your chest at a fist's distance from the edge of the table, your arms naturally lie flat on the table, and your feet naturally lie flat on the ground.

2. Writing method of brush. The first end of thumb knuckles clings to the inside of the pen tube, applying force from left to right, and the end of index finger knuckles clings to the outside of the pen tube obliquely. Pinch the pen tube with your thumb, hook the outside of the pen tube tightly with your middle finger, press the right side of the pen tube tightly with the nail root of your ring finger, opposite to the middle finger, and finally naturally approach the ring finger with your little finger.

3. The simple way to hold the pen is to place the pen holder between the three tips of the thumb, index finger and middle finger, with the index finger on the left and right and the middle finger on the lower right. Pour the ink into the inkstone, dip the brush in the ink and smooth the paper.

4, horizontal stroke writing, first put the pen tip, that is, the pen tip, a little to the right in the air, and then reverse it a little to the left, that is, write it on paper in the opposite direction. Pause gently, with the pen tip slightly in the middle, and stroke gently and smoothly to the right. When collecting the pen, gently lift the pen, gently pause, and then lift the pen back, and the horizontal version is completed.

5. The main point of sitting posture is to be straight, steady and naturally stretched, so that the head is straight, the body is straight, the arms are open, and the feet are stable. Be careful not to be too stiff when writing, and be flexible when writing. The strokes are not comprehensive, so you can choose posts according to your own interests, such as Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Lanting Pavilion, which is suitable for beginners. It takes time to practice calligraphy well, not built in a day. As long as you have perseverance, you have a chance to practice well. When writing on paper, you can put something else under the paper, in case it is soaked by ink, it will dirty the desk.
