Chen Yongming’s personal career

The work "Happiness" won the silver medal at the first Chinese Nüshu Art Exhibition (Ministry of Culture, Wuhan University) in 2001; in 2004, he visited South Korea on behalf of Hubei famous calligraphy and painting artists and participated in the (South Korea) Asia Art Reception Exhibition, the work "China-Korea Friendship" won an award and was collected. In 2005, the article "About Chinese Nüshu" was published in the "Wuhan Calligraphy" magazine; "Views on Chinese Nüshu Calligraphy" was published in "Hubei Calligraphy and Painting Art" and other websites; in 2006, his research paper "On the Development of Nüshu in the Information Age" , Protection and Utilization" gave a speech at the National Nushu Academic Symposium and received unanimous praise from experts. The work "Shun" won the gold medal in the National (Henan) Women's Calligraphy Masters Invitational Exhibition in 2006. In 2007, the work "Phoenix Rising in the Middle East" was exhibited at the 8th China Art Festival and was collected. His calligraphy works have been published in "Calligraphy Herald", "Chutian Metropolis Daily", "Chutian Golden News", "City Intelligence", etc. He serves as deputy editor-in-chief of the Nüshu reference book "Nüshu Tong" (Hubei Education Press).
