With a long whistle, the sword was drawn,
One knife and two knives, the cliff cracks and the peak turns to the waterfall mountain.
Standing on the lotus peak,
Seen from a distance, white clouds rolled,
In the middle of the sky, I can still hear the roar of war horses.
The most regrettable thing is that the command error,
9000 athletes strayed behind enemy lines, and this hatred is hard to eliminate.
This is an eternal matter, a matter of victory or defeat, so why complain!
The white hair is rustling and the shirt is not rusted.
Standing on the cloud,
At the foot of the mountain,
Listen to Wan Songtao. Mr. Shao Qi's words are far from treasures, long and beautiful, close to Jin Dongxin of Yangzhou's eight schools, while Fang Bi, like a light and steady feeling, has a strong flavor of bamboo slips and stone carvings, and the stone is full of charm. The so-called "writing is like a man" and "painting is like a man", everyone who has had contact with Mr. Shao Qi says that he is just like his poems, books and paintings: naive, simple, frank and bold. He never hides his views on reality; Treat your friends sincerely, be anxious for the public and do what is righteous. Especially after ten years of catastrophe, many painters have a deep understanding: "The wind is like grass, and Lao Lai has a noble character!" He doesn't drink or smoke. His lifelong hobbies are: poetry, painting and calligraphy. Whenever I talk about the happiest problems, I always talk about them. My unrestrained passion is unstoppable. This is the unique temperament of a poet and painter.
In addition to poems, books and paintings, he also printed with woodcut and calligraphy skills. The white seal is very characteristic of China. Known as the "four musts". He also has a rich collection and fine appraisal. Jin Dongxin's paintings and calligraphy, Chen Laolian's flowers, dirty Taoist's picture books and so on are all treasures of his family.
In order to pursue his ideal, Mr. Shao Qi persisted in studying for decades and never slackened off. Sixty-five years old, still full of pride, carrying a painting bag, driving white clouds, crossing deep valleys and continuing to climb the ladder of Huangshan Mountain. Lai Shaoqi is a calligrapher, painter and printmaker. For decades, he has been spending his artistic career in a hurry. For decades, he stuck to his beliefs and hobbies. After decades of persistence, his artistic achievement is "what you ask for is what you get".
Lai Shaoqi's printmaking shows its uniqueness in skill and style. He once carved a six-foot print, which was surprising. This size alone is unprecedented in the history of printmaking. There is a print about "Huaibei becomes Jiangnan", which contains meaningful landscape paintings. It is strongly close to the fine structure of China's paintings, and it also integrates the coloring method and color application of China's paintings in terms of color tone. It can be said that it combines the forms of China's paintings and creates an unprecedented face in the history of printmaking. Therefore, it gives people a sense of art, which is a novel style with practical significance and China painting atmosphere. As early as 1930s, I knew Lai Shaoqi, a young woodcutter. His works were appreciated by Lu Xun, and he was taught how to inherit the fine traditions of the nation and the people, how to use the painting methods loved by the people, how to integrate the new European laws, and how to create a new version of paintings with national and local characteristics. He was asked to "read more and practice more". Lu Xun has high hopes for him.
When I first met Comrade Lai Shaoqi after the liberation of Shanghai, I was impressed by a simple, honest and diligent printmaker who loved and pursued art. On one occasion, Shao Qi showed me his famous paintings one by one, including Chen Laolian, Jin Dongxin, Cheng Sui, Huang, Fu Baoshi and Pan Tianshou ... He enthusiastically introduced his landscape album in Chengsui to me and pointed at him excitedly. From this simple inscription, we can see his affection for the famous painter and seal engraver of Xin 'an School. He meticulously copied the original landscape that he could find. I appreciate the painting he copied. If I don't explain in advance, I can really "confuse the fake with the real". He spent three or four months copying the Three Gorges map of Tang Yin in Kuanglu. I saw two of his prints, one is "Warfare of Huaihai" and the other is "Autumn", which are basically paved with China's paintings and absorbed the traditional expression methods of China's paintings. The pictures are full of the flavor of the times and have opened up a new way for prints. To appreciate Mr. Wang's paintings, we must first understand the relationship between Cheng Xiang and Huang.
I may have some natural preference for literati painting, but what I mean by literati painting is by no means the ink that the poet painted under the south window without the smell of human fireworks. I like poetic works with lofty realm, gorgeous temperament and far-reaching charm. Such landscape paintings have opened up another vast world for our hearts. The more idealized landscape painting is, the more it can reveal the soul of oriental art. In the field of modern landscape painting in China, I think this is what Mr. Lai Shaoqi pursues. In the long war life of Kingoma iron and gunfire, a pair of Lai Shaoqi soldiers were tempered; Therefore, his paintings are full of stirring pride. He is so sincere in loving the land and mountains of the motherland and the people who live and work. From the pines, clouds and waterfalls he wrote, he heard the author's warm voice.
He studies tradition hard. Cheng Ai's taste of "dry autumn wind and moist spring rain" and Dai Benxiao's vigorous characteristics of "dry and light" are all dissolved in one furnace, creating a painting style that is both pure and steady and free and unrestrained.
His calligraphy, Wang Xizhi's Lanting, is a running script, which is far away from Li Shu, Bao Zi and Yan Long, close to Jin Dongxin, the eight eccentrics of Fayangzhou, sharp and vigorous as a razor, and has a strong charm of ancient park stone carving. After climbing Mount Tai, the list of books started from Shibuya School in the Northern Qi Dynasty, from square to round.
Because he was engaged in woodcut in his early years, his seal management is also very distinctive. Carved with a meat cleaver, as hard as pine and cypress, as hard as stone.
He is also a poet, especially his paintings, which are rich in meaning, beautiful in charm and far-reaching in artistic conception. There are paintings, music and vitality in the poem. We can see it from his newly published poems.
He combined poetry, books, paintings and seals to eulogize his beloved motherland, people and everything he loved.
Nevertheless, he is still determined to explore the skills of artistic creation; At the age of 70, he is still full of pride, carrying a painting bag, driving white clouds, crossing the deep valley, continuing to associate with Huangshan Mountain, and climbing the ladder as always. Looking at Lai Shaoqi's life and artistic path, it is precisely an evolutionary process from revolutionary soldiers and fighters to literary leaders, scholars and artists. Because he is a soldier, there is a warm pride and momentum in his art; Because he is a scholar, there is no lack of calm rationality in his art; But he is also an artist with a poetic temperament. He loves his country and people, nature and life, and has great love and affection for everything, so his art is so full of interest, fullness, enthusiasm, generosity, massiness and strangeness. Lai Shaoqi remembered Lu Xun's teaching all his life: "Huge buildings are always piled up one after another. Why don't we do this? " Therefore, he named the studio "a tree and a stone studio" to show his self-encouragement, and later renamed the studio "Mushizhai", saying that Zhu often appeared in his paintings. In fact, the name "Mushizhai" is very symbolic: the woodcutter is full of vitality; Stone, motionless, simple and heavy. Lai Shaoqi's Chinese painting, who knows that is not the case!
