Dao County is a county under the jurisdiction of Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. Located in the south of Hunan, it borders ningyuan county in the east, Jiangyong County and Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in the south, quanzhou county County and Guanyang County in the west and Shuangpai County in the north. Geographical coordinates are1117'-156' north latitude, and it belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. Daoxian County was called Daozhou in ancient times, and it was also called "the four states in southern Hunan" with Hengzhou, Chenzhou and Yongzhou in history.
