The annual March 16th celebration is a large-scale gathering both inside and outside the county. On March 16th, 1958, President Mao Zedong inspected the then Red Light Society in Hexing Township. In order to commemorate the great man, Hexing Township was later changed to Hongguang Township, and commemorative activities were held on this day every year. In 1995, Hongguang Town Government built Mao Zedong Square, in the center of which was a sculpture of Chairman Mao with the masses. Zhao Yunyu (1916-23), whose original name was Wen Wei and later renamed Zhao Shi, was a famous painter and calligrapher. People from Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. Born in Sichuan in 1916. Good at Chinese painting. He has served as an art teacher in middle school and Chengdu Minyun Art College, copied ancient paintings and appraised them in Sichuan Museum, and later served as a Chinese painting teacher in the Fine Arts Department of Sichuan Education College and a member of China Artists Association.
