Zhou Bin, male, Han nationality, born in June, 1942, native of Wuwei, Anhui. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, artistic consultant of Anhui Calligraphers Association, curator of Hefei Sino-Japanese Friendship Art Museum, chairman of Hefei Calligraphers Association, honorary president of Hefei Painting and Calligraphy Institute and vice president of Anhui Yellow Painting Association. In his early years, he studied calligraphy, landscape and poetry from Lin Sanzhi, and later he studied freehand flower-and-bird painting from Mr. Xiao Longshi, a master of Chinese painting. His works, which combine poetry, calligraphy and painting, are vigorous and elegant, and he is an outstanding painter of contemporary literati painting. His works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times and published in newspapers and periodicals, which have been well received. After writing, he has been engaged in painting and calligraphy art education for a long time and has been hired as a visiting professor by many universities. He has been invited to visit Japan, South Korea, Australia, Spain, France, Italy, Vatican, Monaco and other countries and Hong Kong, Macao and other regions for lectures, exhibitions and artistic exchange activities.
