Zhang Yude, a native of Qing Dynasty, was born in Lingxian County (now Huxian County), Shaanxi Province.
When I was young, I was diligent and eager to learn, and I was particularly interested in learning poetry. At the age of 20, he graduated from Jianfu Temple (now Xi Little Wild Goose Pagoda). He has written 360 "Wild Goose Palindrome Poems", all of which can be translated into sentences. Since then, he has studied calligraphy assiduously, absorbed the strengths of the previous generations, and is good at writing regular script, running script, cursive script, official script and seal script, especially cursive script. He made the poem "Yan Hui Wen" into a poem tablet with five styles: Kai, Xing, Cao, Li and Zhuan, which was called three wonders by the world: more than 300 poems with the word "Yan" were regarded as a must; Palindrome is a must; Five-body calligraphy is three unique skills.
Zhang Yude is honest and not greedy for power. At that time, there was an endless stream of people asking for words from him, and he was only willing to write for decent people. His calligraphy works "Inscription of Buddhism in Jingcheng Temple" and "Han Shifeng's Epitaph" were published in Shanghai, and were praised as "fat but not exposed, thin but not exposed, round and smooth pearls". Most of his works are lost. At present, there are only 23 palindromes in Xiangxuezhai and the manuscript 1 in Huxian County.
