Chen: A native of Puning, Guangdong Province, a member of Puning Literature and History Museum and a member of Puning Calligraphers Association. Chen, 68, was born in an ordinary peasant family in Chishui Village, Puning. He loved the art of calligraphy since childhood. When I was a teenager, I copied the regular script inscriptions of great calligraphers such as Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing and Ou Yangxun, and then wandered between the two kings and Mi Fei to explore its mystery. He is good at writing Ou Kai fonts and has been devoted to writing for decades. His calligraphy works have won many awards in national, provincial and municipal calligraphy competitions.
