The two stone lions on both sides of the gate of Sun Wu Ancestral Temple are magnificent, adding a bit of righteousness and solemnity to the building. On the gate hung three golden characters "Sun Wu Ancestral Hall" inscribed by Chi Haotian, vice chairman of the State Military Commission and Minister of National Defense.
In the middle of the front yard stands a white jade statue of Sun Wu. Sun Wu holds a military book and looks into the distance. It seems to be planning, and it seems to be going into battle in person. It is not only reminiscent of Sun Wu's heroic and resolute performance of killing Ji by his soldiers, but also seems to show Sun Wu's majestic heroism when he led his troops to break Chu in the Western Expedition and marched to Qi and Jin in the North. The first exhibition room is an exhibition of textual research materials on Sun Wu's hometown. This exhibition is divided into four parts, gradually showing the historical evidence of Guangrao, the hometown of Sun Wu, and the latest research results of contemporary experts and scholars. The second exhibition hall is Sun Wu's calligraphy and painting exhibition, with not only inscriptions by Party and state leaders Nie, Hong Xuezhi, Gu Mu, Chi Haotian and famous experts and scholars Zhang, Yang Xiangkui, Tan Qixiang and Ren. There are Deng Lin of China Academy of Fine Arts, famous cartoonist Dai Dunbang, calligrapher Qi Gong and Feng Qiyong's calligraphy and painting ink.
On both sides of the second door is a huge porcelain sculpture gallery of Thirteen Articles of the Art of War by Sun Tzu. This porcelain sculpture was jointly completed by Zibo farmer porcelain sculptor Chang, his father Chang Weicheng and his brother Chang Zongsen, with a total length of 43 meters and a height of 1 meter.
