What does Yue Ming Tower mean?

Yueming Building was built in the fourth year of Song Xuanhe (1 122), also known as Bayi Building (formerly known as Xuanchang Building) and Qingfeng Building (later rebuilt in Huangbinhong Park).

Yue Ming's architectural plane is rectangular, with double eaves resting on the top of the mountain, stone pillars and sea rhyme wood structure. These stone pillars were carved by Wu Yankang, a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. The building site is high in terrain and built on a tower. Jinhua used to have low buildings. Therefore, from the Yue Ming Tower, I can see the Furong Peak in the north, Shuangxi in the south, and look around the city. You can enjoy the cool in summer, climb mountains in autumn, enjoy the moon in Mid-Autumn Festival, and watch the snow in severe winter, attracting celebrities of all ages.

Today, Yue Ming Garden has been built around it. Although the scale is not large, the carved columns and stones, complete flowers and trees, and antique Yue Ming buildings are propped up high, which is particularly eye-catching.

On September 9th, 1982, the Jinhua Municipal Government announced Yueming Building as a key cultural relic protection unit in Jinhua.
