Zhihu, calligrapher.

When I am writing calligraphy works, especially when copying running script and cursive script works, I often encounter a situation: I need to judge what stroke order the calligrapher used to complete the word at that time. After all, when we write Chinese characters, we all know that different strokes determine the structure of the words and whether the words are beautiful or not.

In many cases, the stroke order rules of Chinese characters are horizontal first and then vertical, left first and then down, from top to bottom, from left to right, advanced and then closed (such as "heaven"), middle first and then two sides (such as "water"), and from outside to inside (such as "back").

We can refer to the following pictures:

1) first rises and then falls.

2) First left and then right

3) First inside and then outside

However, when writing calligraphy works, especially running script and cursive script, the stroke order usually changes according to the layout of the works. Running script and cursive script pay attention to one go, flowing, up and down.

For example, with the same "square" character, the stroke order of running script and regular script is different:

A friend of Zhihu also mentioned, "Month. We wrote:

What, what, month

For example, Mr. Lai Chusheng often writes:

Three months, three months.

This is for the last drop, well given to each cross, because of love. This gives way to the consideration of using a pen. "

So sometimes writing words is not strictly in accordance with the usual stroke order, but depends on how the stroke order is more suitable for the upper and lower connection of calligraphy.

Remarks: Lai Chusheng (1903 ——1975), formerly known as Ji, was given his real name. Xiaoshan, Zhejiang, was born in Wuchang.
