He Shaoji's calligraphy was developed by Yan Zhenqing and Ouyang Xun in the Qin, Han and Six Dynasties. His calligraphy was able to draw on the strengths of various calligraphy schools in the Qin and Han dynasties and blend them together to form his own unique style. He Shaoji's official script is full of changes. His writing style is derived from "Ode to the Stone Gate", "Stele of Ritual Vessels" and "Stele of Zhang Qian", but he is not restricted by them. Instead, he imitates the ancients and formed his own style based on copying the Han official script. Unique style. "Four Screens of Official Script" can be said to be his representative work of official script. The style of the whole article is strict, the brushwork is steady, elegant yet powerful and simple. The characters are written in a vertical style, similar to regular script, which is contrary to the square style of Han Li. The center uses the pen to reverse the incoming and outgoing moves. Most of the horizontal strokes are high on the left and low on the right, and some of the vertical strokes are curved and open to the left and right. Individual characters seem to have an unstable center of gravity when viewed independently, but when viewed as a whole, they give people a harmonious aesthetic feeling. From this we can see the calligrapher’s unique aesthetic pursuit.
