Zibo No.1 Middle School was founded in 1924, located at No.5 Qingnian Road, Boshan District, Zibo City, and is a provincial key high school. The gate of our school was rebuilt and expanded in 2006. Designed by Zibo Planning and Design Institute, the famous calligraphy educator Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi inscribed the name of the school. The persimmon tree at the school gate was planted by Sun Hongwei, an alumnus of Grade 8 and Grade 3.
In 2009, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the school, alumni Keihiko Yamashita and Keihiko Yamashita living in Japan donated 85 cherry trees. Xifan Building was built in 1955, with a building area of 1400 square meters. It is the oldest existing building in the school.
Partial expansion in 2009, mainly used as administrative office building and school history museum. The name of the museum was inscribed by Liu Yuxin, an alumnus and professor of Shandong University. The school motto stone in front of the building was presented by the social friendly unit in Boshan District on the 85th anniversary. The school motto stone was inscribed by Mr Ouyang Zhongshi.
The Information Book Building was built in 2000 with a building area of 4 1.22 square meters, which was designed by alumni of Zibo Planning and Design Institute free of charge. Mainly used as library, computer room, maker room, campus TV station, etc.
In the process of building construction, in order to preserve and protect an old Du pear tree on the planned foundation, it is easy to design a scheme, which eventually forms a pattern of buildings with trees, and also makes the story of a building and a tree beautiful. Therefore, the square in front of the building was named Dulishu Square as a memorial.
Yongquan was built on 20 1 1, and was donated by Zheng Jiaqing, an alumnus of Grade 28, to show the gratitude of dripping water and repay the meaning of Yongquan. Boxue Building was rebuilt and expanded in 20 17, with a construction area of 150 16 square meters. It mainly includes classrooms, maker laboratories, psychological counseling centers, and teachers' offices of higher authorities. The classroom facilities are advanced, and the indoor and outdoor cultural atmosphere is strong.
Built in 2000, the building area is 6654 square meters. The 1-2 floor is a dining room, which can accommodate 1500 people at the same time. The third and fourth floors are the art center. Built in 2009, persimmon trees in the park were planted by alumni of Grade 8 and Grade 0. Gleditsia sinensis in Yuanbei, nearly a hundred years old, is one of the oldest representative tree species in our school. Li Xinzhang, a retired teacher, wrote a name for the garden.
