Wang's works and calligraphy

He is the author of two volumes of Han Shi Cun Mu, eight volumes of Poems of Southern and Northern Dynasties, one volume of Miscellaneous Notes of Tianrang Pavilion, Selected Works of Gu Quan, Cui Mo Garden Language, Fushan Jinshi Zhi, etc. Wang has a rich collection of ancient seals, and later generations compiled a book "Robbery of Seal", which only existed after the loss of seal in the Battle of Gengzi. Hu Houxuan's book "Summary of Oracle Bone Inscriptions's Discovery in Fifty Years" says that Wang first discovered Oracle Bone Inscriptions in 1899, which belongs to ancient Chinese characters and is the first generation of Oracle Bone Inscriptions scholars in China.

Wang is also famous for his research on ancient coins. He has many friends with famous coin masters Bao Kang (Bao Zinian), Li Zuoxian (Li), Yang Youyun, Pan Zuyin (Pan), Hu Yizan (Hu Shicha), Wu Dacheng (Wu Qingqing), and later Liu E (Liu Tieyun) and Luo Zhenyu (Luo). According to Luo Zhenyu's "Terracotta Warriors and Horses Lu Daily necessities", after Wang's death, his collection of coins was acquired by Liu E, and his numerology works only published a volume of Selected Works of Gu Quan published by China Guoguang Society.

Wang is good at calligraphy and has made great achievements in regular script, running script and seal script. Most of them are letters and couplets handed down from generation to generation, which are treasured by collectors.
