Distribution of Scriptures in Cliff Inscriptions of Hongdingshan Mountain

Because the concept of "an Dao-a Buddhism" is the concept of "Nirvana is empty", his books here are "Manjuruo" and "Maharuo". To the east is the "Manjusri Ruo" inscribed scripture named "Monk An Dao Yi". The scripture is from the translation of Liang Datura and Sinhala. The full text is ***98 words. In the form of dialogue between the Buddha and Manjusri Bodhisattva, Zen releases the "empty nature" thought of how monks can cultivate great wisdom to the other side, which occupies an important position in Buddhist scriptures. What is more precious is the calligraphy value of the sutra, which is representative in the whole engraving. The writing style is "Li Zhong with Kai" and "Kai Zhong with Li", which is an important feature of the evolution of Chinese characters from Li to Kai and plays a dating role. What is rare and valuable is that the word "Yi" is cursive, while the word "Dao" has the charm of running script, and the word "Shu" has a rare flying white body in calligraphy. In the Northern Qi Dynasty, several styles of calligraphy appeared first in China.

On both sides, there is an inscription on the word-of-mouth of Fengmen, which belongs to the "Monument to an Gong" in seal script. It means that the inscription carved in the book "Feng Men Kou" looks like a word game, but it is actually that "An Dao Yi" uses "An" and "Anxious", and the relationship between "One" and "Different" to explain his own Buddhist ideas. "One" refers to the state of mind in meditation, which is the same as China Taoism's interpretation of "Tao" as "empty and quiet" In the inscription, "being safe means being safe, and being safe means being safe" is a summary of all the meanings. It is also the understanding and development of "Anxin Zen" advocated by a pair of ancestors of Zen Buddhism in Andao.

after the scripture is the Buddhist calendar year of "in the last six hundred and twenty years". There are many opinions about the calendar year of the Buddhist calendar, because there are different opinions about the age of the Tathagata Buddha and the garden silence in Buddhism, so the calendar year is different. According to the Zen calendar year, it should be the calendar year of the second year of the Qing Dynasty in Beiqi River.

There are also inscribed the titles of "Pharmacist Glazed Buddha" and "Giant Buddha".

The style of calligraphy is not found in other places, and the font size is incomparable here.

There are 23 inscriptions on the Buddha's names, such as "Big Sky King Buddha", "ōyama Iwao Buddha" and "Happiness Buddha", in a book by An Dao. The name of the Buddha to the east of "Anle Buddha" comes from the lost seven buddha Eight Bodhisattvas' Speaks of the Great Darani, which is a classic of early esoteric Buddhism. The inscriptions of Buddhist names in Dunhuang and other places in China all come from this sutra.

The image and name of Buddha are the self-induction of believers, so making Buddha and inscribing Buddha's name are used to express the laziness of worshipping Buddha, in which "ōyama Iwao Buddha" and "Alpine Buddha" mean worshipping mountains, taking mountains as Buddha, "King Buddha of Peace" and "King Buddha of the Big Sky" mean worshipping Ann, while "King Buddha of the Big Sky" means that "the Big Sky is king". What is even more precious is the large lettering. Most of the other places in China are about 3 cm long, and the largest one is only 1.3 meters. Here, the word "Buddha in the Big Sky" is as high as 11.3 meters, and the word "Buddha" is as high as 4.65 meters, 4 meters wide and the widest stroke is more than 5 centimeters. The pen is unrestrained and imposing, and there are rare "bergamot" and bird-shaped decorations. According to local villagers' legend, An Daoyi wrote it with a broom, so he concluded that the inscription here was the real "originator of Chinese characters and the best in holding the nest" in China at the same time.

to the west of the "King Buddha in the Big Sky" is a tablet carved on the line of the Six Dragons, which is more than 7 meters high, and the engraved part is 4.8 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. On the top, the head of the Six Dragons tablet is carved in line, and on the bottom, it is turtle-shaped, with the words "Maha Koujing" on it. Most of the scriptures have been eroded, leaving only the words "San", "Chuan", "Sa", "You" and "Empty". The Dharma Sutra comes from the Maha Prajna Paramita translated by Kumoro, and talks about the theory of Mahayana emptiness.

the west of Jing Bei is the largest inscription of "Monk An Dao Yi" here. The four characters are engraved in Guishou Monument, which is 2m high and 1.3m wide. The script is written in letters, and it has the charm of running script, which is chic and smooth, in which the word "one" is capitalized as "one".

"Monk An Dao Yi" is an ode to the West, praising An Dao Yi for reaching the vast realm of Buddhism.

The westernmost part of Beishan Cliff is an excerpt from a book "Manjusri Ruojing" written by Ando, which tells about the empty realm of Buddhism, that is, "neither birth nor extinction, neither coming nor going, neither name nor phase".

There are three inscriptions on Nanshan Cliff: the easternmost one describes the life experience of Fahong, a Chinese and Indian monk, and the general contents of his lectures and scriptures in the east. It can be seen that An Daoyi also believes in the theory of emptiness of nature of Fahong, a Mahayana monk in China and India. The last year is "the third year of the Qing Dynasty in Daqi River ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

in the middle is the inscription of the Buddha's name, which is 2 meters high and 1.3 meters wide, and its calligraphy style is exactly the same as that of Beiya.

The last scripture is the same as "Manjusri Ruojing" engraved in "Fengmen Word of Mouth", but the font here is nearly twice as large, and it is all written in regular script with official script. In particular, the word "Wu" shows the simplicity and simplicity of the official, and the neatness and rigor of the model letters, which is a wonderful model essay.
