Are there any allusions between "insiders" and "outsiders"? Why do Miaoyu and Baoyu call themselves?

Miaoyu is twenty years old, and early summer is Baoyu's birthday. Miaoyu sent a birthday card as a "threshold outsider". Miaoyu's personality has a strong cultural color of Zhuang studies.
