Composition: A sentence that I regret (only 400 words)

As the saying goes, "Give up halfway and accomplish nothing." Although I am still young, I verified this sentence through one thing I experienced.

It happened some time ago. I found the soft handwriting written by my primary school in the place where I piled up sundries at home, and I remembered the process of practicing calligraphy before: my handwriting was not very good when I was a child. One day at noon, my parents asked me to go out with them. I asked them what they wanted. They said they would take me to a calligraphy training class. Since attending the calligraphy training class, I have been practicing calligraphy every day, and my calligraphy level has advanced by leaps and bounds. In the second grade of primary school, he participated in the 11th National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students and won the second prize of Soft Pen Calligraphy. Since then, I have "shown off" my achievements in front of my relatives and friends, and they also encouraged me to continue practicing calligraphy. I want to be a calligrapher when I grow up, and I am determined to work hard for it. But practicing calligraphy can be described as "grinding a sword in ten years." Shortly after this, I experienced a low tide of practicing soft pen calligraphy, and the progress of practice was very slow. This phenomenon directly affected my interest in practicing soft-brush calligraphy, which made me tired of practicing soft-brush calligraphy and lost confidence in it. Although my parents often reminded me to practice calligraphy afterwards, I was desperate for the practice of soft pen calligraphy and didn't listen to my parents' advice, which led to this result. Now my calligraphy is not as good as before, whether it's soft-pen calligraphy or hard-pen calligraphy, but I believe that "nothing is difficult in the world, I'm afraid there is a will." As long as I keep practicing calligraphy from now on, I will be able to practice good handwriting.

I regret that I gave up my calligraphy practice halfway. Through this incident, I understand the truth that "give up halfway and accomplish nothing". However, I will use the phrase "where there is a will, there is a way" to encourage me to continue practicing calligraphy.
