Character experience, Wang Xuezhong.

Mr. Wang Xuezhong's art is well-known at home and abroad, but his successful experience is arduous and long. 1October 23rd, Wang Xuezhong was born in a scholarly family in Jia Ning Village, Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. At the age of five, I went to school with my teaching father and began to learn to write Chinese calligraphy. I have been practicing until 17 years old, and I have visited teachers and friends everywhere to learn painting. Later, he was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of Beijing Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied calligraphy and painting with famous teachers such as Wu Jingting, Qi Baishi and Huang. 1in the summer of 946, Mr. Xu Beihong, a famous Chinese painter, became the president of Beiping National Art College. Wang Xuezhong's talent was appreciated by Mr. Xu Beihong. Encouraged by Mr. Xu, he came to Beijing National Art College for further study.

On the day when the freshmen of the Art College reported for duty, several works combining poetry and painting caught the attention of the president Xu Beihong. President Xu smiled and said to everyone, "The author sleeps at night, and his poems, books and paintings all look a little strange." How about collectively calling them' three eccentrics'? " "。 " Sleep at night "is the pseudonym of Wang Xuezhong. Mr. Xu turned to say, "The word strange has both derogatory and commendatory meanings. Isn't' Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics' also a' freak'? Your calligraphy and painting have some interest in literati painting, but you need to work hard, have the footprints of the times, have the characteristics of things, and have the personal appearance of artists. "

At that time, Xu Beihong personally taught oil painting and Chinese painting. Wang Xuezhong was lucky enough to hear his confession in class, and he often went to xu teacher's house for advice in his spare time.

On one occasion, Wang Xuezhong sent a calligraphy collection he wrote to Mr. Xu Beihong for advice. After careful examination, Mr. Xu appreciated it very much. He knew that there was another name in Wang Xuezhong called "Huyan Sleeping at Night", and immediately wrote an inscription on the album: "Huyan was born as a teenager, and his book is so successful and unique. Fang's ancients were close to Beihai in the Tang Dynasty, the valley in the Song Dynasty, Ni and Wang Juesi in the Ming Dynasty, instead of Zhao Dong's secular posture.

1On the night of leaving school in July, 953, Xu Beihong specially drew a picture of "Running Horse" for Wang Xuezhong, telling him to keep forging ahead in art.

After graduation, Wang Xuezhong was assigned to teach at Tianjin University, where he has been working ever since. During this period, he is not only full of peaches and plums, but also his poetry, calligraphy and painting art are constantly maturing and developing. As Wang Guangying, vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), said, "Poetry, calligraphy and painting are all beautiful"! Wang Xuezhong's calligraphy and painting art is very influential in Japan. In September, Mr Wang Xuezhong was invited to give a lecture at the National University of Tsukuba. Courses offered include calligraphy (a compulsory course for undergraduates and postgraduates) and Chinese painting (an elective course). Because of Wang Xuezhong's influence in Japanese painting and calligraphy art circles, some of his friends in Japanese painting and calligraphy circles specially invested in the construction of "Wang Xuezhong Art Research Institute".

When Wang Xuezhong gave lectures in Japan, he made many friends in Japanese painting and calligraphy circles and forged a profound friendship.

1982 On New Year's Day, Kazuo Matsumura, a Japanese graduate student who studied in Wang Xuezhong, invited him to his hometown in Qiyu County for the New Year. When Mr. Wang got off the bus, Matsumura's parents knelt on the ground to welcome him. On the morning of Chinese New Year's Day, Mrs. Matsumura bought five pieces of paper for everyone to write their inner prayers on paper. Mr. Wang Xuezhong solemnly wrote down the seven Chinese characters "I wish Sino-Japanese friendship everlasting" and tied the note to the branch devoutly. Two years later, when Lady Matsumura visited China to meet the teacher, Wang Xuezhong asked, "I'm afraid the note I hung was blown off by the wind and rain." Matsumura smiled and winked and said, "Teacher, look at our 3,000 Japanese youths coming to China again. Your notes and green trees will last forever! " 1July, 983, Wang Xuezhong's solo exhibition was held in Jiujutang Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo. In the exhibition, Mr. Wang received Nishikawa Ning, a veteran of Japanese painting and calligraphy circles, Sang Yuan Junxiong, an avant-garde leader and art critic. These famous Japanese painters and calligraphers spoke highly of Wang Xuezhong's calligraphy art.

However, what impressed the Japanese people the most was Wang Xuezhong's 5.9X4.4-long giant mural "Four Seasons Prosperity Map". This painting was specially painted by Mr. Wang Xuezhong in China and Japan. On July 28th, 1983, this giant mural was unveiled in the lobby of Ueno Railway Station in Tokyo, Japan, which marked the centenary of the establishment of the station, the 10th anniversary of Sino-Japanese friendship and the 2nd anniversary of friendship with Beijing Railway Station.

With Mount Tai in China and Mount Fuji in Japan as the background, this mural depicts the four seasons beauty of Ueno Park in Tokyo. In spring, the butterfly dances cherry blossoms, in summer, the carp beats Lan Lian, in autumn, the wild goose leaves, and in winter, the panda snow bamboo. The mural also depicts the old appearance of Ueno Station a hundred years ago, with hundreds of historical figures of China and Japan wearing Hanfu or kimono. The poem "Centennial Ode to Ueno Station" written in the center of the painting has become a witness and symbol of Sino-Japanese friendship.
