Jiang Laiqiao, pen name Er Qiao, 1937, born in Heze, Shandong Province, now lives in Beijing.
Jiang Laiqiao, a famous calligrapher, was born in a scholarly family. He loved calligraphy since he was a child and began to learn calligraphy at the age of five. 1953 was taken to Jiangnan by my uncle. He was called "Northern Qi and Southern Deng" under Deng Sanmu. He studied calligraphy with his teacher for 5 years, and then consulted Ouyang's predecessors many times, which benefited a lot. He learned from others and added his own calligraphy. Jiang Laiqiao is currently the vice chairman of China Collectors Association, the vice chairman of China Calligraphers Network, the chairman of China Charity Artists Association, the chairman of the National Famous Calligraphers Exhibition Committee, the national first-class calligrapher, the "People's Artist" of the 20021National People's Congress, the "Hundred Brilliant Artists in One Hundred Years" for the anniversary of the founding of the Party 100, and the China cultural and educational honest artist. In 2022, he was awarded the "Unique Art of Calligraphy and Painting".
Calligraphy style
