Do you need to sign the copied scriptures?

Generally speaking, the copied scriptures don't need to be signed. If you are copying Buddhist scriptures, you usually just need to copy them without signing. If you are copying other types of scriptures, such as Tao Te Ching and The Analects of Confucius, you don't need to sign. However, if you copy Buddhist scriptures and donate them to temples or Buddhist organizations after copying, you need to sign the scriptures so that they can record your donation.
