Can Chinese painting be taught by itself? Are there any successful examples?

Chinese painting can be taught by itself, and I am the best example. I remember when I was in junior high school, I studied harmonica playing in a music interest class for two years in a row. At that time, I was not so excited about going abroad, because now I am the "chief" harmonica player, but under the economic conditions at that time, my family could not afford the extra round-trip air tickets to Japan except buying air harmonicas. So after that domestic competition, I stopped participating in various activities and joined the painting interest class in a boring way. In fact, that picture is just playing with the playing time at that moment.

After joining which painting class, the first two weeks went smoothly as expected, and I left after painting. However, since the third week, my blind beard has become a "genius" in the eyes of the teacher, so every time a painting comes to me, it doubles. Even during this period, the teacher once wrote a letter to me, hoping to leave my painting to the school. Later, because I was graduating soon, I agreed. There seems to be another painting in the corridor of the school. Many years later, when I picked up the brush again, I was already an adult. I am like a newborn child without any foundation, eager to learn "growth" from something. First, I bought a sketch book, and then I watched various tutorials released by teachers online.

Fortunately, the education my mother gave me when I was a child helped me to a certain extent, because my strong feeling of color made me make great progress in the practice of "fishing for three days and drying the net for two days". Although my mother saw this and praised it, I deeply realized all kinds of "bottlenecks" after every progress. There was a time when my hands trembled for a long time because of my work, and then I almost cut off a finger when I was carving seal script, which made my "bottleneck period" worse. At that time, I even thought negatively that I might never write again in my life. But just two weeks after this incident, thanks to God's care, almost a circle of blood on my finger suddenly healed, and then my hand stopped teasing. I slowly began to try to resume practicing with charcoal pen, and then tried to copy meticulous painting with ink and wash, and so on. So this painting has been painted until now.

Sometimes when I think about it, I may be too stubborn to persist, so I think if you really have a strong will and a sincere heart for Chinese painting, I believe you will have a good harvest in the near future. And if you just like Chinese painting, but you don't have the determination to endure loneliness for a long time, then I suggest you find a professional training institution to audition for two classes to see if you really love it. If yes, please insist, if not, put it down as soon as possible! After all, if you like it, the handicraft shop doesn't have much money to buy one, so don't suffer.
