In the summer of 1938, he joined the army and joined the "Ju County Field Cadre Training Course" co-founded by the Kuomintang. After graduation, he was assigned to serve as a staff member of the Ju County Movement Committee. In the autumn of the same year, he was transferred by the party organization to study at the Shandong Military and Political Cadre School located in Andi, Yishui County, where he further received the political and ideological education of the Communist Party. After completing his studies, he was assigned to the Third Independent Battalion of Yishui of the Eighth Route Army, the Second Brigade of Shandong Column, and the First Independent Regiment of Ganyu, etc., and successively served as a youth officer, instructor, and battalion instructor. He left the army in 1942 and transferred to the Binhai Anti-Japanese Administration as the head of the cultural and educational section and the head of the Binhai area art troupe. In the spring of 1944, he was injured during the anti-"mopping up" campaign. In 1946, he served as Secretary of the Binhai Area Branch Headquarters and led migrant workers to support the Laiwu and Menglianggu battles. In the autumn of 1948, he transferred to the local government to engage in education work. In 1951, he was transferred to the Administrative Cadre School of Yishui Special Administrative Region as a teacher. He was wrongly classified as a rightist in 1957 and corrected in 1980. After retiring in 1976, he was hired by the Juxian Cultural Bureau as a creative writer. Since the mid-1980s, he has devoted himself to the study of calligraphy art.

He has had the habit of reading at night since he was a child, and he is known for his erudition, strong memorization, and talkativeness. He is accustomed to studying scholarship by tracing back to its roots. He can recite many classic works and wonderful chapters. He is known as the "Four Great Talents in Ju County".
During his teaching career, Mr. was an excellent teacher who was trusted by leaders and respected by students. His vivid classroom teaching language and scientific and practical teaching methods left a deep impression on students. Since the 1960s, he has created more than a dozen short operas, including "Morning Song", "Little Things in the Village", "Sister-in-law Captain", and "Car to Changhong". In order to write the large-scale Peking Opera "Beacon Fire in the Ancient City" that reflects the major revolutionary historical themes of the Anti-Japanese War, before and after the "Cultural Revolution", I traveled to Nanjing and other places, visited people who were familiar with the liberation of Jucheng, revised the draft several times, and continued to process and improve it, making it a masterpiece. The play was performed twice in Linyi area in 1964 and 1978, and was well received both times. It has been performed for more than 100 performances. In 1981, the large-scale new historical drama "The Golden Fan" co-written with Comrade Fan Weiwen won the Regional Creation Award. Because he is well versed in Tang poetry, Song lyrics, and Yuan music, his plays are harmonious in rhythm, vivid and touching, and are both elegant and popular, and are highly praised by his peers. In the 1980s, he was designated as a provincial and regional key playwright. During this period, he also participated in the inspection and planning of tourist attractions in Ju County, and assisted the county museum in writing cultural relics records.
