The Historical Evolution of Linsan Middle School

Shanghai Linsan Middle School was founded in the 22nd year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1896). Is an old school with a hundred years of cultural heritage. Formerly known as "Linsan Academy", the campus is located in Wenchang Pavilion in Linsan Town. It was founded by Chen, local educators Qin Rongguang, Yang Siwu, Lian and tycoon Tang.

In the 28th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (AD 1902), it was rebuilt into Linsan Academy. In the thirty-third year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (AD 1907), it was changed to "Linsan Senior Middle School". In the first year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 12), the school building was destroyed by fire. Principal Qin Xitian (son of Qin Rongguang) and inspector Zhao painstakingly planned to rebuild the new building, renamed it Hehe Township Senior High School, merged with four primary schools in the township, and set up the management organization of the school as the joint head of Qin. In the 15th year of the Republic of China (AD 1926), Yang Si was designated as an urban area, so it was renamed as "Private Linsan Primary School". In the 19th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1930), President Qin Xitian and President Ding planned to set up the Middle School Department, formerly known as "Private Vocational Middle School", with Ding as the first president. The following year, the school was renamed as "Private Linsan Junior Commercial Vocational School". In the 26th year of the Republic of China (AD 1937), after the "August 13th Incident", the Japanese army occupied the territory, and the school moved to No.44 Pingheli, Aiwen 1st Road (now the intersection of Beijing West Road and Yellow River) in Shanghai Concession, and set up a high school business department. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 194 1 year), the Pacific War broke out in June of 5438+02, and the Japanese army occupied the concession, so the school board decided to declare the middle school closed. Shi's original school site was "Shanghai No.4 Middle School" during the Japanese occupation period. After the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school moved back to the original site of Linsan Town in February of the 35th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1946) and officially resumed classes. Because the school equipment has been destroyed, it has been changed into an ordinary middle school, and a high school class has been added, named "Private Linsan Middle School".

1950 in autumn, the school added telecommunications and machinery to recruit junior high school graduates from our school and Songjiang District. 1953 65438+ 10, the school was changed to a public office and renamed as "Shanghai Linsan Middle School". In September, 1958, five high school classes in Guang Xiao Middle School in the urban area merged with their teachers. 65438-0965 enrolled students in urban areas and accepted boarding students from Shanghai high schools. The Cultural Revolution began at 1966, and the teaching facilities were severely damaged. After the downfall of the Gang of Four, the government allocated huge sums of money for the maintenance and construction of school buildings. 1978 65438+ 10, the school was listed as a key middle school in Shanghai county. 1993 transferred from Shanghai County to Pudong New Area, and now it is a key middle school in Pudong New Area.
