He was born in the thirty-second year of Emperor Gaozong in the Qing Dynasty (1767), and is rarely called a child prodigy. Forty-seven years of Qianlong (1782) added students. Qianlong took part in the imperial examination for sixty years (1795), so he gave up his official career. Specializing in poetry, painting and calligraphy, he likes drinking, and painting bamboo stones after drunkenness is one of his unique skills. When Jiaqing was a tribute student, Jiaqing gave lectures at Jishan College for nine years. He likes making friends and is friendly with Yuan Mei. In his later years, he moved to the east gate of Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, and died in the 11th year of Daoguang of Xuanzong (183 1) at the age of 65.
His works mainly include Poems of Lingfen Pavilion (four volumes of the first episode, ten volumes of the second episode, four volumes of the second episode, twelve volumes of the second episode, eight volumes of sequels, two volumes of miscellaneous works and four volumes of miscellaneous works), one volume of Diary of Jiang Xing and Supplement to Tang Cuiwen.
