Qianshouyan, or Qianshouyan Temple, is located in Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area in Quanzhou. There is a stone tablet beside the temple, which is inscribed with "The First Mountain", written by Mi Fei, a calligrapher in the Song Dynasty. There are thousands of Guanyin statues in the temple, hence the name Thousand Hands Rock, also known as Guanyin Rock. There are also statues of Sakyamuni and eighteen arhats, grotesque rocks behind the temple, and maple trees all over the mountain.
