Feng Yuji, whose name is Zhong Liang, is from Gao Qian, Guangdong. In the 21st year of Daoguang (184 1), he was a scholar, edited by the Hanlin Academy and became the governor of Shaanxi. Good at writing and poetry. When I was young, I worked in Xuehaitang College founded by Ruan Yuan, Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi. Qing Daoguang was recommended by his hometown for twenty years (1840). In the twenty-fourth year of Daoguang (1844), he won the sixth place in Zhongjinshi Erjia, and was awarded editing by the Hanlin Academy to study politics in Shandong and Hubei. During Tongzhi period (186 1 year ~ 1875), he returned to Duanzhou to make friends and was employed as a lecturer by Yingyuan College in Guangzhou. Guangxu five years (1879) in August, as the governor of Shaanxi. In July of the 9th year of Guangxu (1883), Liu Enpu, an imperial adviser of Shaanxi Daoism, impeached him for being an inhuman person, and was dismissed in October, so he became an official in Yangzhou. He loved painting and calligraphy all his life, and was appreciated by Zhang Weiping, one of the "three sons of eastern Guangdong" (Zhang Weiping, Huang Peifang and Tan Jingzhao). Lingnan people regard him as a master and one of the famous painters and calligraphers in the late Qing Dynasty. Ouyang Xiu's calligraphy was realistic, and Li Yong was fruitful in his later years. Painting imitates Wang Yi, with meticulous workmanship. He is the author of Poems of Green Garnanting.
