Wang Dao, the prime minister in the early years of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was a famous politician, calligrapher and one of the great calligraphers in history. Wang's family has a deep relationship with calligraphy, and his nephew is Wang Xizhi, a famous "book saint" in history.
Wang Dao attached great importance to calligraphy, and often taught the Wangs to respect it, and Wang Dao, as Wang Xizhi's uncle, must have contributed to Wang Xizhi's outstanding achievements in calligraphy.
Wang Dao's excellent calligraphy works have been handed down to this day, including Convenient Sticker and Gaishuo Sticker, among which Gaishuo Sticker has become one of the models in the development of cursive script. Wang Dao has a deep relationship with calligraphy, and it is the "capable calligraphy" in cursive script, which can add luster on the basis of predecessors, thus leaving a legacy for future generations.
