Yicheng Temple was built in the first year of Emperor Jian of the Northern and Southern Qi Dynasties (560). Sun Bin wrote books in Sun Garden, and King Qi built a post city nearby. After Sun Bin's death, he was buried in front of the post city, and the post city was renamed "Yi City".
Buddhism was introduced to Juancheng during the Wei and Jin Dynasties. In the first year of Emperor Jian of the Northern Qi Dynasty (560), a temple was built on the old site of Yicheng. It was named "Yicheng Temple" after the meaning of "Yi" for tranquility. It was later destroyed due to floods in the Yellow River. . It has been rebuilt twice. In the thirty-seventh year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty, the "stone stele of Yicheng Temple was rebuilt" contains "More than ten thousand images of Sakyamuni are carved on the sun of the stele, and more than 500 names of presiding monks are engraved on the shadow of the stele" and "The emperor's palaces are all over the world. , but not less than the prosperity of Da Qi", which shows its grand scale. Yicheng Temple is also known as Cheng Temple, which means Yangjiao Ai, Zuo Bo Tao and Jing Ke. Its origin is that there are Yangjiaoai, Zuo Botao and Jingke's tombs next to the temple, so "Yi", "Yi", "Yi" and "Yi" all refer to the same temple, namely Yicheng Temple.
This temple has lasted for thousands of years. During the glorious period, there were more than 10,000 Buddha statues and more than 1,000 monks. However, a fire in the Ming Dynasty destroyed them. After several repairs, the largest one occurred in the 37th year of Jiaqing in the Ming Dynasty. At that time, it was a large-scale area of ??500 acres, until 1994. A special and accidental opportunity - at that time, there was a mage in Taiwan named Tianji. She once made a great wish in the Central Plains. When the wish came true, the mage planned to fulfill her wish. However, when she traveled across the country, she never found a person who could make her wish. The Master got on a plane and wanted to leave the place where he had made his wish. Passing over Hong Kong, he accidentally opened a map of China and his eyes lit up when he saw a word. The word "鄄" in Juancheng County: Big Eared Buddha, the Paradise of the West, which is the hometown of Buddha. , and after investigation, it was discovered that this was once the birthplace of Zen Buddhism, and it was also the hometown of Sun Bin. After the Battle of Maling, Sun Bin retired and returned to his hometown to live in seclusion here. The master believed that this was a geomantic treasure land of "timing, favorable location, and harmony". So he spent a lot of money to build a temple here.
