He studied under the famous landscape painter Wei Zixi in his early years, and was later influenced by famous artists such as Yaming and Fu Xiaoshi. Now he is a member of Jiangsu Artists Association, Jiangsu Calligraphers Association and a special painter of Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy. His works have a wide range of themes, simple brushwork and rich colors. It is famous for its colorful scenery. He is one of the most influential painters in Jiangsu landscape painting.
