Zhang Hu was born in Dingxing County, Hebei Province. He is currently a member of the National Committee of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the president and editor-in-chief of China Art Newspaper, a member of Chinese Writers Association, and the former deputy secretary-general of China Calligraphers Association.
